Damn that's insane. I just installed 11 on my new build and my cpu usage is maybe 3-5% when I am just sitting in windows. Sounds like you might have got some mal-ware on that PC.

You can go back to setting and change things again. Now a days os' are stupid proof.
A recent Windows update installed a widget that slowed my PC to a crawl..I was able to uninstall the update but now Microsoft is bugging me about needing to update again...not a chance!

if you hold down ctrl to select more than one when moving apps to trash or retoring.
doing this made the taskbar very small and afaik you cant reverse it

I just got a new laptop, and setting it up for the first time. I see all my programs from my main desktop I don’t want anything from my main desktop on my laptop do I have to uninstall OneDrive to remove everything or do I have to do a reset of the whole laptop to wipe it clean fresh if I do that how do I get it to not sync anything from my desktop? Or do I have to go on my desktop and uninstall one drive so this won’t ever happen again if I get another pc or another laptop. Thank you also I got an Alienware so I don’t need all Dell or Alienware things on my laptop? I just seen a lot of your things were Dell and Alienware I thought I needed that. But I honestly want a fresh laptop without all that crap on it and nothing from my desktop on my laptop. But I do need the ms store and xbox app because I play xbox on the pc.
When setting up your new device please don't connect to the internet or log in right away, that way you can have a fresh start. You can always set up your accounts and thing later after the setup. Atleast, that worked for me.

First time I installed something that a CZcamsr recommended, biggest mistake ever! Trojan on my device now, Kaspersky is going nuts!!!!
nooooooooooooooooo!!!! i am sorry to hear that. This is a script, not a program. It uses power shell which is built into windows. If Kaspersky is going crazy its probably before of the commands being rapidly executed. I do not believe you are acutally infected with anything
kaspersky is probably just another bloatware. Windows Defender is already enough (for me)

After using this tool I noticed a Linux folder added to the left pane of my folder menu, anyone know why?

i can do this by going to apps in the settings.
appearently MS doesnt want me to debloat my laptop since it bluescreened and ran disk check
u might have deleted something else because i had to go trough the files it wanted to remove and i saw couple of essentional stuff i had to remove form the bin

Alternatively, you can uninstall the bloatware by hand.

This application seems to have broken my ability to take screenshots using the "print screen" button. All screenshots I take disappear and do not go to any folder that I can find on my computer. I assume this is because I removed something from the list that was needed to save screenshots... Any ideas?
Unless Windows 11 added this feature, "PrtScreen" button won't send the screenshot to any folder, you have to paste it (ctrl+v) in Paint, and then save it.

i think thats because you deleted onedrive. Onedrive saves your screenshots after you press print screen button

Just right-click and select uninstall. Why complicate it?
Because there's some apps that can be uninstalled, Windows is shoving it down your throat and with the debloatware, it's a way to revert that and save some space

when you need it, you can just simply not delete it and if you've deleted it then you can install it from microsoft store.

Yes there is by name of Tiny10, but I would not recommend it because of possible security issues.

It was locked away by Avast on my system. I thought it might be a false positive and even tried to download and run it again, and all the options for each part are completely empty now. At least I have the dark theme and small icons working from it still. :D
