    It might work for a few minutes or so and then BAM, back to the boring stock face we are all trying to avoid! Well in today's video, I break down EVERY step that is required to make sure it is open and STAYS open, for as long as you want. I also speak about a brand NEW feature called 'Stay Alive' that the developers have worked hard on to ensure that you see clockology whenever you raise your wrist. Let me know in the comments what feature helped you out the most!

      Yep, obviously an out dated video. Only options are always, after 2 minutes, an after 1 hour. Guess that makes Clockology useless, unless you want to add it every hour.

  • @cyrrelnicolas5089
    @cyrrelnicolas5089 Před 2 lety +17

    For those wondering where the “after Digital Crown is pressed” option went:
    General ➡️ Return to Clock ➡️ Clockology or APPS (you want to customize) ➡️ Change Default to Custom
    Then select “After 1 hour”
    It will show the text:
    “Apple Watch will return to the Clock Face after 1 hour of displaying the app or after the Digital Crown is pressed.”
    It’s been integrated with the after an hour option. 😅🥲🫣

      Hey Dr Koudki, thanks so much for watching!!
      WatchOS 7.2 made one minor change to the process of setting up clockology where they removed the 'after crown press' option. To fix this issue, go to the watch app>general>wake screen>on my iPhone screen wake show last app>after 1 hour.
      Also, make sure that you have Stay Alive enabled as well. Or else, it will keep returning to the stock watch faces.

    So I have followed every step but it still resorts back to the default clock once I put my wrist down ? I have the 1 hour enabled and stay alive . It was working perfectly yesterday then when I charged my watch it has started going back to default?

    • @ThreeTwentyTech
      @ThreeTwentyTech  Před 2 lety +2

      Hey Jake, thanks so much for watching! When you charge your Apple Watch, it will naturally go back to the stock watch watch face. When you're not charging it, it should stay on Clockology for the entire duration. To make things easier, you could put a Clockology shortcut complication on your stock watch face so it makes it easier to get back to your custom watch faces.
      If you have any other questions, please let me know! I hope you have a great day, Jake! 🙏🏻

      Hey , thanks for watching! Watch OS 7 made one minor change to the process of setting up clockology where they removed the 'after crown press' option. To fix this issue, go to the watch app>general>wake screen>on screen wake show last app>after 1 hour. Also, Clockology will return to the default clock face if you exit the clockology app, push on the side/crown button, cover the watch with your palm, or take the watch off your wrist. If you have anymore questions, please let me know! Stay healthy and have a great day! 🙂

      Yes I’m on os 8.. I have wake on wrist raise and crown rotation. Wake duration I have wake for 70 seconds. Don’t see always. When I go to Clockology choose the watch face I want. As soon as I move it goes back to the old face. You might have to make an os8 video.

    It truly does take the Apple Watch to a whole new level. The developers are really smart with their approach. Will there be investment options in the future?

    • @ThreeTwentyTech
      @ThreeTwentyTech  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey drummer, thanks for watching! WatchOS 7.2 removed the 'after crown press' option from the apple watch for some unknown reason and now we only have the stay alive feature to keep clockology running. A lot of people are actually staying on 7.1 because of this but unfortunately you aren't able to downgrade anymore. Regardless, the 'stay alive' feature should be more than enough to ensure clockology remains open at all times!
