I want to go to MIT
I’m a freshman and I study in Belgium but I’m Indian. I want to get into MIT for my undergrad. Currently I feel like it’s very hard for me to get in since my school doesn’t have any science fairs, awards, clubsor AP classes and no CS. I’m pretty sure I’m gifted but the problem with my school is you don’t really get subject selection, you get to choose a major and each major has a set amount of hours of every subject per week. So I have to do subjects like French and religious studies which lower my grade by some amount. I usually get around 75% on my rapports but my main concern is that I don’t have CS and that is the major I want to follow at MIT I have very good grades for English and I had good grades for maths until this year where I have a very strict teacher. I’ve looked into the maths and English SAT and they aren’t too difficult for me. But due to subjects like French my grade gets lowered and I also don’t know what my GPA is all I get is the percentage on my rapport. I know one person from my school has gone to Harvard, also an Indian. I want to talk about something else, my friends have it pretty easy at school. They don’t really have exams while I have three a year and I think they have better subject selection. I know if I went to their school I’d easily be able to get 95% or more so would it be a good idea to change schools? Another question I have is would MIT count a 75% at my school as a 95% at my friend’s school? The class average on most of the rapports are 66% so I’m well above average. In conclusion I’m gifted but academically I can’t do very well since I don’t have a good variety of subjects and can’t choose between them. My school is also a public school.

Hey kevin during my freshman year and sophomore year, I ran a community service club which is sponsored by localities rotary club, and I was also president in that during my sophomore year and won best community service project out of all the state clubs in my country. Also during my freshman year I had ranked 14th in National Junior Science Olympiad. Also rn I am working under a youtube as a primary video editor

My family thinks its not worth trying to get into MIT since they believe that something ppl commit to as kids.Although I am a community college student I rrly want to visit the campus. Despite my family’s realistic point of view. I still want to envision going to MIT. Thank You for this video as support🎉
You should still apply man! The only way you don't get in is if you never submit an application. Use their words as fuel for motivation - you got this!

How can I get into ivy league in 2025 when I have 2.62 GPA (out of 4) in my bachelor's (only because I didn't study well 🤧) and 3.27 in my high school? How can I improve myself in 1 drop year? Which type of internships, exams, extra courses, other stuffs should I take?plss help 🤧

I always wanted to go to UPenn, I wrote some papers on business and AI, which got recognition at my school from the principal, I’m planning on starting up a entrepreneurial project over the summer, I started with all cp classes and ended with 4 APs and 2 Honors classes for my senior year next year. I also have around a 4.0 GPA. I also have a family member who’s working on a project with the university and he’s involved me in it. It has to go with AI and pollution I believe. I’m also in a lot of relevant clubs, and I’m the president of chess club. However, I don’t have many service hours because I injured my ankle very badly while wrestling this year, as a junior. I couldn’t walk for 6 months, yet I did whatever I can to boost my previously lacking profile. What do you think my chances are of getting in? Do you have any major tips?
how did you get started with writing the research papers? I want to do something similar on very similar topics (was also thinking AI and Business). But I'm not sure on how to do it.
@@hopsmax2827Just do it. But seriously, first I learned how to write a paper. Then I chose a topic and created an outline for the paper. Then I did the research. Then when I wrote the paper I wrote it “inside out” I started with the conclusion and worked backwards. Not sure why but it helped me. Writing papers is fun, so enjoy yourself my friend.
How did you become the president of the chess club, or plan the projects(and get the resources) for such a thing. Im taking my sophmore exams, and average 3.66 and take almost all honors, my mother had a stroke(in some ways gave me super high amounts of freedom even if that sounds wrong). An issueim dealing with is im younger than most of my peers and i dont turn 16 until the school year ends so i cant drive yet, idont got a job or any experience. It was only recently i started picking up tons of hobbies and intrests(computers, electricity, chess, 3d printing, nueroscince, physics, robotics, and engineeering, and history). The issue is i have to wait until next year before i can take the classes on allat, but i cant take some online courses from tehese ivies. The only real issuse is the utside of school prots, my parents and grandparens aint gonna let my build the peojects i have in mind becuase they require me to personally make the frames with tools not so safe, and i dont got a job to get smtn eaiser.
Baiclly ima ask how are oy doing that all, and do ya think 1-2 years will be enough time based on everything i said before. Im just worried its too late.

I’m going to a random school in Ohio called Miami University next year, incoming freshman. It’s always been my dream to go to MIT but my parents didn’t even let me try. I’m okay with going to Miami, it’s pretty, it’s not a bad school, but I still want to go to MIT. So I’ve decided that I’m going to go there for grad school. It’s going to be a LOT harder but I think I can do it. I’m going to double major in Computer and Electrical Engineering at Miami and probably try to get in some good internships, research, and a project in the next four years.
Miami U in Ohio is pretty legit! Ball out there get a 4.0 then apply to MIT for grad school 🤓 grandmasters think 5 moves ahead
