Star Wars Speeder Pursuit - LEGO Kinetic Sculpture

- A design discussion of the modifications I made to LEGO set 75353 Endor Speeder Chase to turn it into a kinetic sculpture. Turning a crank on the base of the model moves the speeders from side to side, making it seem like the one in the back is chasing the one in the front through the forest.

Great work! I feel like a feature like this would be the perfect thing to justify the set's steep price point. Lego should definitely try stuff like this too :)
Imagine LEGO put this mechanism in the box they would sell like hot cakes 🎂 Fantastic 🙏
I did pretty much the same thing to the Lego Star Wars Trench Run set. Such a great way to add value to these sets. Amazing technic that can be used for so many sets, thank you on behalf of all AFOLs!
Man I can’t wait to get this set. I am definitely going to do this to mine. Thank you for taking the time to show and share to us on how to do this. Keep up with the great work!
Superb conversion and fantastic presentation/editing/narration!
I helped with figuring out the angled mounting on stream! It was a really good time.
Yes, awesome, thanks for the input!
wow it's so much better when it moves :D
One more impressive conversion ! Awesome !
Great technique for an amazing result !
This is wonderful !
The most impressive and knowledgeable LEGO builder
Man u do so cool work and great videos
Great work!
Masterful
“Yo, what’s up?”
“Just swingin’ in Endor.”
This is so cool!
As always: great and very clever work. At the price Lego is asking for this set, it should come with your modifications already included.
Awesome
insane
So, so, so, cool. :o
Second!
Hey JK Brickworks you are my favorite CZcamsr and i love your work Especially the LUUMAA and the printer,(i like ev3’s) you inspired me to become a lego pro, thank you! (BTW I’m 10 years old)
Fantastic. What wouild make this PERFECT is a scrolling screen of blurry green and brown like in the movie to create the illusion of flying through the trees. Like the tread in the Mario nes set. Lovely build!!!!
That would connect to the lever that guy is using?
So cooool
Currently doing this aswell! Question tho.. how would one automate it to move via battery
A buddy of mine asked me to do this to his. Do you have a parts list? I can figure out the mechanism but I don't have the set on hand
Where can I find the necessary bricks and instructions to build this?
I really appreciate your work! One thing that's puzzling me about this build: Why the big grey gear wheel? It doesn't seem to have and purpose.
I can also put the motor inside the base. If I do, this is the gear it meshes with.
@@JKBrickworks I wasn't really counting on getting an answer from you so now I feel like you made my day ;-) Thanks for the info! I have to point out again how much I love your work! It's really inspirational. I feel like all the candidates of LEGO MASTERS (the show) should rebuild your stuff before going to the show haha :-) would probably make for even more impressive builds.
Are these instructions available online?
Lego jaws lego set is coming out in 2024 don’t know what month or day it is going to be released but you have to make a another swimming shark
Now it’s worth $80!
My toxic trait is thinking I can do this without any tutorial video
:)
Nooo 949!!! I want 950!!
"Nougat" (New gAt or Noo gAt)?
I say nougat (nuggat sort of).
Other than that, kinda' cool, though.
This dude should just buy the entirety of the Lego company at this rate with all his custom builds.
He might as well make an entire country out of Lego in realistic human scale at this rate, just give him 5 minutes and he’ll have an idea for how to.
after demonstrating that could use a solid connection on the corners of the plate, you use hinge plates? makes zero sense.
