Yea - that’s an accurate assessment - definitely less technical but still a fun place to ride if you’re in the area and you’ve already ridden Carvins Cove

I descended on wood thrush back when I had NO skills. Accidentally caught air off a rock right before the switchback to the parking lot. Thought I was a gonner but saved it last minute 😅

I’m surprised you haven’t ridden Blacksburg (poverty creek system?) yet, they supposedly just did a lot of work. Last time I was down this way I wanted to try Blacksburg or carvins, but was closer to carvins, so I soaked it up.
