First set of citizenship certificates issued under CAA to 14 applicants

The first set of citizenship certificates under the Citizenship (Amendment) Act was issued to 14 people, starting the process of granting Indian nationality to persecuted non-Muslim migrants from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

What about the chakmas of AP who had been living there for over 5 decades? Is the present BJP govt so weak that despite SC judgement in 1996 and in 2015 ordering conferment of citizenship to the chakma people of AP who had migrated with the central and state govt in 1964, the chakma issue of AP is not resolved yet? Shall we accept the narrative that BJP is not for the minority but only for the majority?
