  • Are you thinking about moving to Fort Worth Texas? Let’s explore Fort Worth Texas with rich history, diverse culture, and endless opportunities today!
Fort Worth, Texas is a vibrant and bustling city with a rich history and culture. Located in the north-central part of the state, it is often overshadowed by its neighbor, Dallas Texas, which is the ninth largest city in the entire country. However, Fort Worth has plenty to offer on its own and should not be overlooked.
One aspect that often comes to mind when discussing cities is safety, and Fort Worth Texas has a crime rate that reflects its size. In comparison to Dallas, Fort Worth Texas has a slightly lower overall crime rate according to recent statistics. While both cities have their own unique issues with crime, Fort Worth residents can take comfort in the fact that their city is relatively safe.
There are so many things to do and see in Fort Worth Texas, from historical landmarks to modern attractions. On the west side of the Trinity River is Western Hills-Ridglea, a neighborhood that boasts beautiful parks and outdoor recreation opportunities. The Southeast part of Fort Worth has a rich history and is home to the Log Cabin Village, where visitors can learn about pioneer life in Texas.
Another must-visit area is the Historic Southside district, which is known for its vibrant art scene and delicious restaurants. This area has undergone a revitalization in recent years, making it a popular spot for both tourists and locals alike.
In conclusion, while Dallas may be the larger of the two cities, Fort Worth Texas has its own unique charm and shouldn't be overlooked. With a slightly lower crime rate and plenty of exciting activities to enjoy, it's no wonder that Fort Worth, Texas is a top destination for travelers and residents alike.

Having lived in both, FW has a better zoo, museums, and is def easier to get around.

I grew up in Dallas and agree FW is more laid back and slower pace. The Trinity River in FW is breathable. And if you know Dallas, you know exactly what I mean.

Fort Worth and it's surrounding cities, are good places to live, and are always building brand new homes and condoes in development areas. Just like any large city, in certain areas you have to be on guard and avoid at night.

You are spot on! Fort Worth is beautiful and in some areas more beautiful than Dallas- it’s greener, the Trinity River is enjoyable, there’s a lot to be said about FW. The negative would be the same in most urban areas. I agree with you, some of the suburbs of FW are great with amazing schools and lifestyles.

Hi @sanmiguel860. Tell me more. Sounds like schools are important, what do you mean the schools are ugly? I am happy to assist you in finding the areas that may be a better fit for you.

@@TheDFWLife-cn7yo other than that is the area safe

Safe? Well, that depends on so many things. Overall, Mansfield is considered a safe area but like any area, it depends on where in Mansfield (even some of the Dallas and FW areas are safe...just depends on where). I totally understand the value of educaiton. I was a high school teacher before Real Estate. Sometimes, you have to dig deep and see which schools within the district would be a better fit for you (demographics, achievement scores, etc). Are you considering other areas? Keller and Northwest ISD have strong schools too, but it also depends on how much you have ear marked for your home purchase. How can I help?@@SanMiguel860

There are some areas that are impoverished like many major cities. There are some nice, wealthier areas in Fort Worth. The suburbs north are nice.
