I like this idea because once my halos go out, whenever that happens, I can easily remove them and replace with new ones. I might even prefer this method for my sequential drls since I'm opening my headlight housings anyway to black out the chrome and install halos/drls. Both the halos and the drls have 3m tape on the backs of them but I don't think Im gonna use it now. I greatly appreciate this tip because now if I have any issues with the lights I can easily replace them. Awesome!
Video is incomplete. Doesn’t show how to install a halo completely. You have wire for the halo sticking out, how do you run that wire behind the shroud ?

@@Kyezie131 you can either solder it directly to the wiring harness or you can solder in a pigtail connector. The latter is the better option as it will allow you to remove the headlight assembly without having to cut and resolder. If your asking how to wire them in it depends of when you want to halos illuminated. So if you want to run them with your drls then you would locate the positive and negative ( some dont have negative wires) then splice into the power wire and solder the halo into the exsisting circuit. You will end up with a Y power in one way and out 2. If you have a negative wire you do the same if not you can ground it anywhere on the body of the car. Let me know if theres anything you don't understand.

@@lilblingking1491 soldering is very easy, I can give you a quick walkthrough if you like. A soldering iron isn't even really required for wires this size. A multimeter would be useful to determine which wire supplies 12v but also not needed.
What about if I have a diffuser to go on top over the actual halo? Would I just do the same but over top the diffuser? I feel like that would a little more noticeable

WRX CREED it would need to re map the lighting in the ecu of your vehicles. Usually angel eyes on along with the small lights, or within the small lights sockets
Why not buy the led headlights that come with rgb halos already installed? I see them on Amazon all the time and I've seen a few jeeps in my area with them.
Yes for the turn signal you would tap the orange wire into the + turn signal wire on your car. These halos do not have the turn signal function though, so that wire is not present in this video.

We don't have that vehicles halo size on file unfortunately. The easiest way to figure out would be to measure the diameter of your factory projector shroud!
Its just part of it - the halo is the ring being mounted to the chrome part of the headlight in the video. Its a universal add-on for most all headlights really

You safety wire the halos on, sweet! Great idea, I'm an aircraft mechanic and that's a bread and butter job for everything we attach haha

My original XSB halos from 2017 are still going strong. I use them about two hours a day too. Even more on the weekends.

Drill a small hole under the halo, de-pin the JST connector, pass the wires through the inside of the shroud, and re-install the connector.

You could, but JB Weld would be better. Glue might wear out overtime due to the heat in the headlight, and you don't want your halos hanging around.
I put the Angel Eyes on my alpha 159, but the CCFL interfere with the front parking sensors

Those systems can be so picky, They can be very touchy and unfortunately there isn’t a real fix for it other than repositioning the angel eyes.
