I have worked in a company for 10 years and 3 months, and then after taken permanent voluntary retirement. Does the interest i earn on EPF every year come under taxable category? Or its tax free?

Agar company chhodne ke baad EPF interest pe tax lagta hai, toh kya isse accha yeh nahi, ki hum EPF withdraw karke, us rakam ko mutual funds ya PPF me invest karein? Pehli company chhode 5 saal ho gaya hai. Career break par hain, to kya karna sahi hoga? EPF account pichle company ka trust maintain kar rahi hai..

You have stated multiple times in the video that interest earned during the period for which no contribution was made will be taxable. Can you quote the Section/ Rule Number or a Circular or a judgment of Tribunal/ Court which says that interest earned on EPF post cessation of employment will be taxable. Plain reading of Section 10(11) & 10(12) doesn't say anything like this. Possibly, there is a CBDT Circular or a Tribunal/ Vourt judgment, which makes you believe that this is taxable.
After retirement can EPF corpus be kept for 36 months and interest earned on it is completely tax-free?

I suggest take out the full amount and invest somewhere else. You will get better returns i m sure. We can't trust govt. We dont know when govt will change rules and mandates. Since EPF is a major source of income for govt to invest somewhere else, they dont want us to withdraw the money whenever we want. They will intentionally create site issues, server problems so that its difficult for us to withdraw easily.
If any one not having UAN number, that situation how a employee can check his balance without visit Region PF office.

Agar Koi Company Salary batati hai Rs. 20,000 aur ESI aur EPF deduct karte hai toh kitna deduct hoga, kya hame yeah deduct karwane me fayda hoga aur itne Salary batane par bank me kitne Salary aayegi after deduction and without deduction.

but after 3 years of career gap your PF account becomes dormant and you dont get interest on it. So its better to withdraw the amount before 3 years.
