Chris flying over a crowd doing his thing will always be the funniest bit. Love nothing more than it.
Truly wish he could’ve gotten to the help he needed.
the help was there,he didn't want it. Such a waste.
The help flying, you mean...yes, but thankfully, in the end, he got the help he needed, from Kevin. Tragedy averted 🥵
"It's one thing to make people laugh, its another to make them smile."
Norm Macdonald, right?
@@murderc27 Yeah... well kind of. It's Norm MacDonald quoting Woody Allen's agent, to Woody Allen. But I've never heard the actual quote from anyone other than Norm. Lol, so pretty much... yeah.
Farley did both
Love that.
Miss you Chris ! Rest well brother !
2:12 LOVED the improvised "I have a weight problem" in reaction to the technical snafu.
Late great Norm Macdonald described the late great Chris Farley perfectly:
He appealed to absolutely everyone regardless of their age, gender or race.
Chris Farley appealed to you whether you lived in a van down by the river or a truck down by the lake.
Norm oughta know since he only appealed to straight white men.
Or rich or poor, smart or dumb...
"you're almost flying..."
"Kev I'm doing something!"
🥀🕯️🕊️
Never will be another one like him
The definition of 1 in a million
Bar none! Period!
NOT EVEN CLOSE. NOONE. EVER

EVER
I miss Chris Farley so fucking much.
This one just randomly popped in my head because someone was doing air quotes and had to look it up. I love Chris's character's he did on SNL.
I love how simple this sketch is but Chris still makes it hilarious
I miss Chris so much. He was and still is my favorite comedian. This is one of my favorite characters he does. Named my cat Bennett Brauer after this skit😘 RIP Chris. We love ya. ❤️
❤️
Aww I wish I could meet the fuzzy BB! He probably "grooms himself in public" and "lashes out violently when shown affection" and is "indifferent towards suffering."
Chris was such a wonderful performer, who just seemed to click with everyone he performed with, Nealon is no slouch, and the line about the cable at the end was the perfect cap.
I love that you named your cat that! 💙
"This is live! ....WHAT THE HEEEEALLL!!!"
Chris Farley was one cool cat. It's such a shame he felt bad about himself. He's just lovely and was a gentle soul.
I love Chris Farley.
Ohio state university in all caps. Mark
Farley was the dude that made all the comedians laugh as well. Truly a comedic gift.
I don't look the part. I don't fit the mold.
the way Kevin handle the light incident is so professional.
Dude you could tell he broke character in the end of the skit tho lol. I loved watching SNL during that time I was 10 years old those were my days my generation of comedy
These guys were just "The Best!"
I don’t *“get along with people”.😂💀*
So true, he didn't miss a beat. That was cool.
He handled it "professionally". He's a real "professional guy"
i guess 11 people don't "get Chris Farley and his great acting ability"
So good. I wish someone would upload the third Bennet Brauer sketch in full. The one where he says “I eat my own Dandruff, ahhh I’ve never had sex with a woman ahhh” RIP Farley, such a legend
It's on The Best of Chris Farley DVD.
That’s my favorite one!! “I don’t know how that works!!”
It’s on NbC’s site
GREATEST comedy sketch ever on television, because it didnt go as planned.
There’s a sketch where Chris enters the stage and closes the door behind him so hard that a whole shelf fell off the wall. It definitely wasn’t supposed to happen. I was laughing so much, I kept replaying that part.
@@dancepiglover do you know what that ones called? I don't think I've seen it.
@@AidanDotDash Not quite sure what it’s called, but the family members always make bad choices, such as deciding to smell something stinky. It has Tom Hanks in it.
"WERE DOIN SOMETHIN" 😂
It makes me so sad that he thought people only found him funny because he was fat. The dude was genuinely funny, and from what I’ve heard, he was so big because he needed space for his big heart.
Exactly! I have heard that he was a good person. Sad that some of his friends would always write jokes about his weight, and maybe he had low self esteem. But in all honesty, I think he was very attractive. He was beautiful on the inside and outside.
I didn't find him funny because he was overweight, I found him funny because he damm funny
Farley was simply too funny!
Wow I remember watching this when it first aired!
Kevin Nealon was probably the best Weekend Update host and he was completely underrated. He deadpanned it like it was the real news.
Right. Being next to Chris Farley, I would have lost it lmao
Norm and Dennis were much better than Kevin, who does a great job here but often flubbed words or lines.
I agree. Kevin is my favorite WU anchor.
He was the best bc he looked very serious whereas Norm Mcdonald would make it a joke.
Strangest thing I ever saw. I'm getting all the funny "air quotes" that I "expect from Bennett Brauer" and then he starts "flying around the room", "sort of."
As a kid this was hysterical now at 31 he's just describing me. Fuck.
Classic Farley!! I miss this dude so much.
I love this.....I could watch it all day......man Chris was funny!!
What a legend
Remember watching a lot of these live Saturday nights and it was the best part of the week. This is REAL comedy when you laugh at something from 28 years ago. Nothing like it in 2021. Period.
It's so tragic, looking at what it was compared to what it became. Just watching Seth Meyers or Colin Jost makes me want to vomit.
The woke vomit of the last 20 years is unwatchable
@@KevinDonlin Then go get an effing Delorean, and fly back 20 years ago, old boomer.
Yes. Lived with room mates at the time and if we weren't home we always taped it to watch later. Comedy gold. We loved farley
this is the kind of comedy gold that gets funnier the more times you watch it
The Funniest badass Mfkr On/ Off Late night on Earth...Rip Buddy
R.I.P Chris Farley so original
We miss you Chris! RIP! You'll always be with us!
Who's Chris?

Chris Farley. Dummy.

Chris Farley! Hello! You are not very bright are you?
@@timidbeauty2355 are you and peaches the same person
Just seen a still meme of this this afternoon on Zed's Laugh You Lose, and here a few hours later is the whole sketch being recommended... No slacking today...)))
Dude was a legend. There will never be another CF
He still is a legend. He will always be. Rest his soul.
Even his right shirt sleeve tucked in his coat while his left one shows was hilarious
The fucking golden years of SNL! So good having and seeing these as a kid.
It’s so weird a man who’s been dead for years can make me laugh so hard I cry
Does anyone remember later on this same ✌️Commentary✌️ - I believe the camera was on Kevin who on the left end of the desk, giving another report or two after Farley had been floated out of there on the wires, Farley’s spot now empty. By that time my mind had pretty much moved on from Farley. Right about then, a full size dummy of Farley hit the desk from above the TV frame as if shot downward out of a cannon and just SMASHED Farley’s end of the desk like a dropped wrecking ball. Upon impact the dummy fell behind the desk out of sight, and immediately, Farley popped up from behind the desk where the dummy had fallen & flopped forward onto the desk looking into the camera as it zoomed in on him, the audience going nuts. I don’t know what, if any dialogue took place or how that sketch ended because I was on the floor incapacitated, laughing so hard that I missed whatever happened after that…….
This is what little old i would call “The Great Lost Farley Sketch” that Lorne must have vaulted📦🔒for reasons of his own…..😏
Me and a friend use to act like Bennet Braurer and do this the whole time we talked man this brings back memories and the laughs we had 🤣🤣
lol Nealon having to help with the wires. Farley was such a legend. I sometimes do the finger quotes for goofy stuff because of this man.
Love. One of my favorite endings to an snl sketch.
Thank you for giving us joy Chris. You are impossible to forget.
There are few that sparkle, but far more few that shine.
Shine on, Chris, and thank you.
That is deep.
One of the most wholesome moments in SNL history!
Classic moment! Really miss Chris Farley!
Love you so much Chris. Thank you.
Beautiful Chris...
Happy 60th up in heaven Chris. !!! Thanks for making us laugh.
REST IN PEACE CHRIS FARLEY ❤️
Man i miss the 90's
I understand completely.
I'll never understand why he just started flying all of a sudden, but that part always trips me out! :D
His onslaught of air quotes is generating enough lift to levitate an entire Chris Farley. This is what being too ironic gets you, folks. And I say godspeed.
Or perhaps Bennet was such a pessimist that life magically granted him the ability to fly.
I take that as his unbridled and seemingly nonsensical enthusiasm manifesting physically. He gets him self so worked up that just shoots off into space! A random idea seen through as was common with the SNL Golden Age.
@@MrEuboeaInteresting theory. I like it.
@@joshuatolley2580 Good.
Chris was the best!!!
The true art of improv...to continue the act even if everything goes wrong
One of the great ones. Always makes me laugh. Rest in peace Chris Farley.
Three people "DIDN'T FIT THE MOULD!"
My all time hero, he went out in such a heartbreaking downward spiral, it happens to the best of us♥️
Of all of his classic & unforgettable sketches, Bennett Brauer was my favorite. I die every, single, line. “I’m not *‘svelt.’* I, ah, don’t *‘understand what’s going on in the neewwss’* …” lmao 🤣
For me it’s “commentators who don’t “drink maple syrup straight from the bottle”. Lol!!!
@@labulldog5 Or I don't "clean the area between my crotch and legs."
Kevin Nealon's reaction at the end was great...
Pure Genius!!!!!!
The GOAT of comedy for me, Always 💜🙌
I wonder how much the glasses that fell off his face at 2:31 would be worth online today. "Chris Farley's Glass from Bennett Brauer Skit - Originally Aired April 19, 1994."
Rick from Pawn Stars : I'll give you $2 and a bottle of Snapple, and I'm taking a risk with that...
I'd say probably $200-$500, provided that they could be authenticated.
Gold. Good memories of staying up late as a kid and watching cf
God I miss you Chris!
There’ll NEVER be another you!
Loved him.
Viewing this after getting rejection letter post job interview makes me feel a lot better :)
Rip to the funniest man I’ve ever seen.
I still miss Chris Farley. Every day
Its impossible to not laugh when watching this
Miss you Chris - RIP.
I was watching Return of the Killer Tomatoes just now and the Igor character started swinging his arms and it reminded me of one of Chris Farley's characters. I decided to watch this Chris Farley video and I'm glad that I did because this made me laugh really good!
Being from chicago, the midwestern accent just feels like home. Farley is the man
It was getting funny until 2:22 when I remembered that was the clip shown at the end of Sandler's tribute to Farley, then it just got sad again.
I thought it was the Tribute to Phil Hartman?
Neither the SNL or the 100% Fresh tributes had that clip my dude.
@@hinkhall5291 WTF?
@@nickjklol The end of this when he was flying was shown when Adam Sandler sang his Chris Farley tribute song on SNL in 2019, duh! watch the video, it's on youtube.
He was definitely ZVELT.
One of the best moments ever
The perfect and to any sketch: have Chris Farley Randomly start flying
Priceless. .miss him!!
He was wonderful
This character seems like Matt Foley with the volume turned down. Still funny, especially with the light incident. 😅🤣
Chris Farley plays one character just at different volumes
God bless you Chris
What a twist! Hilarious!
RIP LEGEND
If he would have lived I bet he'd have become a respected character actor and have like a bunch of awards.
Is there a state of funny that is beyond funny? This was it.
I never had “sex with a woman” i dont know “how that works” i guess ill never “fall in line”
A true comic genius.
Genius...pure and simple... Genius 👌😎
I wish this man was still here.
Hilarious
I have a weight problem can't they lift me, hilarious!! 😂🤣
And it was not his weight being the reason he was not getting off the ground.
Funniest person ever.
I'm not " svelte "....
Farley is definitely the best they ever had at SNL
So perhaps I do “belly laugh watching this” and “miss Chris Farley”.
People asks Why is Chris Farley flying? Well he is an Angel.
Amen to that! 👼👏👍 🙏
That's Me! Dam
nobody ever shows the ending when farley comes crashing back down on the desk!!! lol
I was looking forward to that part!
Wow, this is my first time seeing this bit and it’s so good
The moment Chris appears with the back of his blazer up to his ears and start speaking with that husky authority, I immediately smile.
He was so great still is rip the king
WHAT A CLASSIC!!!
And the unspoken punchline is that he never even gets to the commentary itself! So clever. Thanks, Chris. I wish you were still with us. You didn't have to die and we let you down.
It would’ve been an honor to have Chris Farley fly over you
The Legend
I lived down by the river!twice!!😢
