  • Episode 2 of Guinea Fowl TV clearly shows the flock enjoying the day free ranging as well as seeking out the best locations for a summer nest. Some guinea fowl use our custom built tee-pee shelters for their nesting sites.
You'll also see what it's like when we call the guineas to the coop yard using a cowbell. We started training the guinea fowl to come to the sound of a cowbell when they were about 2 weeks old. It works perfectly everytime!

They are from the most stupid and spooky chicken family. Not to mention their being the noisiest, too.
Today I got tired of my 4 Guinea fowls and let them free, and now they are resting on the tree in the garden.
I suppose they will leave me and the regular chickens be tomorrow morning!
    God speed 😂

I've never seen my guineas mate. Does this mean the guinea hen is sitting on infertile eggs.

Do they come when you ring the bell? How did you manage that?

Sisi I didn't see a response but I think it was training with millet from the time they are keets. Pretty sure there's a video somewhere on here. I have 2 -3 week old keets that I'm working with with the same method. Handling them daily, ringing bell when placing food down will cause them to imprint and associate the sound with food I reckon
