@SiliconBlake All 30 made it for almost a year. Then, one day recently the guinea fowl were free ranging outside the fenced acreage that the dogs guard, and four of them were killed by wild dogs. . We do eat the eggs, which we collect daily. The eggs are all fertile and we incubate and sell some of them, but eat many of them. Detailed stories about the above are contained in our guinea fowl blog. Search for "guinea fowl blog" on Google - and we should be #1.

Now can you just eat that egg like a chicken egg or would there be an embryo in it since there's obviously a mix of males and females in your flock of 30. Also, did all 30 make it? If not, what was your attrition? Thanks!
