      the problem with Arber is that he seems to already have the Laraque treatment where he's so tough that no one wants to go toe-tto-toe with him anymore...in that case i think he should try to become the second coming of Weber

    Also there is 3 guys guys on the Montréal Canadien who are fit for the same chair i.e. The 3rd line Right Winger
    Candidate #1 #11 Brandan Gallagher 6,5 M$/yr Former #1 right winger who score 30+ goals in his career Brendan Gallagher had struggle to keep up with the NHL pace this year and years of wear and tear have caused trouble and frustration for our friend Brendan Gallagher this year with 16 goals 15 assist for 31 points in 77 games the remaining 5 was lost to a suspension. with a -24 and 74 minutes of penalty this year. The second Candidate is #17 Josh Anderson 5,5 M$ / yr this former 27 goals scorers had a difficult season with only 09 goals 11 Assist 20 pts in 78 games -18 and 74 minutes in penalty. The third and last Candidate is #40 Joel Armia 3,4 M$/Yr with his best season of 17 goals 8 Assists for 26 pts in 66 games with 34 minutes of penalty and a +4.

    Everyone knows who the Canadiens number one forward line is, the Canadiens second line could be Dach, Newhook and whoever in a rotation but if Armia plays like the he did this season starting from the beginning then it could very well be him on that second line.

  • @JudgeDrey
    @JudgeDrey Před měsícem

    You forgot KIRBY in the Not Going Anywhere catg.
    And there's just way too many left handed defense. I agree in wanting to keep the ones you listed, but it just does NOT work out on paper however you try. They can't keep playing Kaiden on right if they want him to develop properly. So that creates about SIX left handed "Not Going Anywhere" defense, including our BEST prospect who has only played TWO games of pro hockey (although he looked very good!). And then you've got 2 of our best prospects on RIGHT defense who have 1 game of NHL experience between them.
    It's a VERY intriguing scenario to have to navigate for management. I'm glad I don't have to make those decisions because my head would implode and circuits would fry.

  • @andrewmoulton7429
    @andrewmoulton7429 Před měsícem

    Arber is an interesting case and i honestly see both sides as far as trading or keeping him goes.
    Reasons to keep: very large defenseman who has a rare toolset in terms of being a decent defenseman who has a physical presence, will scrap, and takes on "sheriff" duties. Very rare breed if he can be a stable guy on the bottom pair.
    Reasons to move: The vanadians have a plethora of D with similar ceilings (especially LD) but Arber most likely has the most value, which may make it hard to say mo if a team is willing to give up enough. Also the fact that hes had injury problems, so i can understand why people think letting him go for a big return before injuries take him down would be beneficial.
    On one hand Arber is the type of player that is near impossible to replace, but on the other hand he has injury issues while having high value in the market, where a Struble could fill in while the habs get a good return

    Your analysis is pretty vanilla. Maybe that will be the Habs approach this off-season, work for incremental improvement. They can’t get it all done in one off-season, with that said they need to get more bold. I don’t know who it will be going, but, if they are going to get that scoring depth they need the price will be high. It could be a Ghule, Reinbacher or someone like that going.

    I think Matheson should be moved for a top 6 forward while his value is high, but I think him being a home boy, he'll stay.
    Kovy is great value for a solid 3rd pair defenseman.
    I still think when Anderson turns it around, theres no way you want to move him. Especially if the playoffs are a probability.

    Armia is a keeper. Anderson you can't move no point dreaming. It's ok. That cap space will be useful when it becomes available.
    I hope they add nobody. Wait, be patient. See what we have. Keep all open cap space. Only sign in house or very cheap sub 2 million players.
    Savard move at the deadline. Matheson keep he's great value.
    Think the habs want to climb the standings on their own steam.
    No 5$ million dollar signings unless it's for one year.

  • @f9w99
    @f9w99 Před měsícem

    Dvorak needs to go.
    Armia had a decent year so get what you can for him.
    Let gally retire in mtl. You know he won’t be asking for a huge contract coming up. Could be a decent fourth liner.
    I feel like Anderson needs a skilled player to be with so hopefully Dach will get back to health soon.
    Harris, Evans and Barron can probably start packing. Let’s get what we can for them to invest in bigger better Dmen. Mailloux, Hudson, Ghule, Matheson and Xhekaj aren’t going anywhere.
