Fixing a GL5500 5 STRING Bass | Noisy Pots, Broken Wiring

this is a very beautiful bass that has a history of sharing the stage with the blues brothers somewhere in arizona. at least thats the story i got, and from the look and feel this bass has very little play time on it but its 40+ years old. That means oxidized pots and some rumors of the wiring cutting out once in a while.
i was able to figure out the exact wiring issue and make sure all the pots sound perfectly clean when adjusting. this bass is cool because it has a custom EMG bass /tone EQ circuit built in that gives it a lot of tonal flexibility especially with the 5 strings.
this bass sounds amazing and looks absolutely beautiful and i was blessed to make sure that it will live the next phase of its life in pristine condition, ready to make fat tracks. this was done for a close friend who is a musician and i know they will make incredible music with this instrument, and that fueled me that much more
the EMG pickups in this are perfect and compared to some of the newer models this would be a PREFErred pickup if youre able to scoop this bass anywhere.
