    Want to make your golf cart faster? In this video I will show you just how to do that if you have a Club car they limit the speed of the engine by a speed magnet which you can easily replace with a faster one. See link below to purchase the faster speed magnet.

    It may not "seem" like much but when you think about it if you went from 14 to 18mph, that's about a 28.5% increase in top speed; pretty huge, relatively speaking lol. Imagine if a 155mph BMW went 28.5% faster, you'd be flying down the road at 200mph! (into handcuffs shortly after lol) Thanks for the video, my father just bought a 2016 precedent and I think I might do this for him.

    I was hopeful but I only gained about 1-2 mph from the change. The old magnet was cracked so I thought I was really onto the issue. I believe the 2005 PQ model has a limiter on it, it doesn’t go faster than 15 mph. Downhill you can sometimes reach 17-18mph briefly. Trying avoid new motor / controller but thinking if I want over 20 mph this is what will be needed.

    Do you have to put the speed sensor back in for it to work or can you leave it off to go faster

    • @GreyTechLive

      I'm pretty sure you need it and then again it might work without it but I'm not sure if it just defaults to the slower speed then give it a try and let me know

      The cart will go about 10 mph if the magnet or sensor is broken, missing, or unplugged.

      yes it works with 2007 ds GE motor. A little harder to remove and replace on GE motor but results are nearly the same 15-20mph with the pedal slack removed also

      @@Bomberomusician 15-20 mph is a big difference. Mine does 12mph now. So what am I looking at a 3 mph gain? Also curious about throttle slack you mentioned? I am on stock small wheels, do you know what putting bigger tires on will do, I’m sure it has the power to go faster? It’s a 48volt. 25mph possible with bigger tires and speed sensor?

    • @Bomberomusician
      @Bomberomusician Před 2 lety +1

      @@aquaticterrafirma The slack that Im speaking of is located behind the go pedal. There is a prong sticking out that pushed the MCOR to open. Place /force something hard between that void/slack and you will gain another 3 or three mph
