My friend im not his mouth piece but he talks facts and like me wants only the best for the club. As for hiding in Spain many of us would want his lifestyle . If Lee was in any way involved in the hiring or transferring of staff at Arsenal we’d be on our 10th manager and a net spend of £600m and still with no trophies. Now his argument would right true if there was a limitless number or exponentially talented managers who could guarantee trophies every season. Now just looking at Arsenal if they sacked a manager every time they didn't win the league or a trophy the dynamic of the club would shift, away from the club having a singular identity based off the tradition of the club toward the market led forces of survival; the club would end up being fashioned in the identity of the business men that ran and owed the club instead of the ethos that the on the pitch success. There would be a succession of managers with varying practicable identities and styles of play; at first there maybe some massive investment thrown behind some of the stalwarts of football, money thrown at the rare gems of the club in a desperate attempt to maintain the charade of what the club once was. The players established and brought in would attain greater power than the next nascent manager, only to revolt when both his message and reputation fail to bring any successs...and because of that idea that if he does not win you anything or does not guarantee title after title you sack him only for the scent to repeat every season. The finances would be crazy as you'd want investment every year and a marquee signing in summer and January, and investment in a new manager and severance when he fucks up. If you think I'm being stupid and this would never happen...have a look at the club down the Seven Sisters and tell me how great they're doing based on this exact model; or look at the recent travails with in South West London.

Yup. Lee lacks the nuance to realise that everything is not black and white. This season was both disappointing and encouraging, they’re not mutually exclusive (which unfortunately a lot of football content creators fail to understand as well).
