  • Right before my business trip to San Diego, I spent a little time getting my plants ready to be without me for a week! I had some plant mail come in so I unboxed it and got those new plants watered and ready to be left for a week.
    After returning from San Diego, let’s check in and see how the plants and the apartment fared without me!

    You're killing me here. I'm trying to take a break from acquiring more plants but your videos are not helping my cause lol.
    Love the video! It's amazing how much the plants get used to a routine and when the routine is disturbed, they may have a negative reaction i.e. the watering situation when you went away for a few days. I guess it's a reflection of humans and how they react to change in some cases. Interesting.
    This is why I love plants, it really forces me to slow down and appreciate the simplicity in life. Thanks for sharing as always.

      What a lovely comment, I’m so glad you are enjoying the videos. Yes, you are right, these plants are definitely spoiled! They are in their routine and don’t really like to get off track.
      I agree, the plants really do make us slow down and it just simplifies things. Very essential in the midst of city life.

    I saw your donkey tail and had to get one. I found three small pots and combined them together. Doing good so far 🤞🏽

      What a great idea, I bet they explode with growth over the summer!

    They don't look too bad. One time I left for a 3 week trip and 2 plants died completely and around 4 probably needed rehabbing but i didn't feel like it, so I allowed them to perish 🙃. Since then, I've been converting everything to self-watering pots and it has lessoned my anxieties surrounding my travels.

      Yes! Self-watering for many of them would definitely help, but then I wouldn’t get to walk around watering them a million times a day and what fun would that be?😆

    I have a heard enough time ever leaving my house and now it’s really hard with all my plants! Have a safe trip and hope your plants do well while you’re gone. You and I are a lot alike I am obsessed with the long strapping leafs. I want the Wenlingeri and the Patricieia I have no idea how to spell them.

    Hi there, you mentioned you were going to put your SP Columbia on a moss pole. Is it not a crawler? Thanks.

    • @Monefsjungle
      @Monefsjungle  Před 2 měsíci

      It’s a weird one. It crawled when it was juvenile but has since started climbing. It brows almost diagonally but is definitely moving more and more upright as time goes on. It’s completely distinct and different from my Gloriosum which is a true crawler.
