Exteriors:
Based on the Alto 800 platform, K10 shares nothing other than the roof and doors. Upfront, there is large headlamps and a new grille with chrome, the bumper gets a large slated air dam with black cladding. The bumpers that are at the front as well as at the rear are layered in the body color. Coming to the rear, it is plain and simple as the rest of the cars. There are a well-sculpted bumper, large taillights, and a high-mount stop lamp. Overall, the new K10 looks like an older K10, but with younger and sportier aura.
Interiors:
Maruti Alto K10 gets all newly refreshed interiors. Everything from the dash to the paneling is changed and been transformed into the latest. Starting with the dashboard, the dual tone scheme of black and beige colours look cool. Air-conditioning vents are round on either side of the dash with the circular silver enclosure and the trapezoidal central vents add to the premiums of the interiors. The central console, as the whole interiors, have received drastic improvement and looks equally attractive. The background colour of the center console is orange. The 3-spoke steering wheel is decorated with silver accents and beyond it is the stylish driver info display that gets tachometer as well and other useful info. Another special thing is the presence of automatic shift lever in AMT variant that has been introduced for the first time in Alto. When it comes to space, it has a decent space at the front, but there is a lack of legroom and headroom at the rear seat.
Engine and Performance:
The all new Maruti Alto K10 is packed with 1.0-litre, 12 valve DOHC K10 petrol engine with a displacement of 998cc. It belts out a maximum power output of 67 bhp with 90Nm of torque. The new motor is hugely refined and the car feels zippy and nimble in handling. The AMT(Automated Manual Transmission) is the star attraction and is the same as in Celerio. It makes driving very easy and pulling it in tight parking spaces and traffic, less frustrating. Though, the transition between gears could be felt, still it is something that could be ignored easily. The steering feels pretty inconsistent when left freely but handles well as you grab it. It performs well on all kind of road surfaces and it something you can't complain about Maruti. The tyres cannot offer a lot of grips and the suspension bit on the softer side.
Verdict:
At 4.2 Lac (ex-showroom), Alto K10 comes up as a nice car for city rides. It is adequately peppy to drive in the city, also get a light steering wheel. It is fuel efficient car, but lacking on safety features like ABS, airbags. All in all, Alto K10 is perfect for the short family. - Auta a dopravní prostředky

Did 170kph easily several time, it is really smooth and silent ride compared to old alto. Loved driving in city traffic with manual gear box.

I have been using Mariti Alto K10 for the last six months, I don't recommend this vehicle to anyone for the below reasons.1) Heavy vibrating vehicle, you will get body pain if you travel more than 50KMs daily, looks like diesel vehicle vibration.2) AMT gear shift is not linear, too much of jerk, also the gear shift is highly unpredictable in the Drive mode (sometimes feels dangers to drive this vehicle for it's behaviour)3)getting mileage of 10-11 per litre for my daily office use4)AMT has high lag between gear shift and vehicle move, eg) with reverse gear and push acceleration - the vehicle will move with big lag, after looking back I accelerate but when the vehicle stared moving someone will come behind and I need to break it. Overall the vehicle is not good to run on roads for it's unpredictable behaviour5)Poor build quality and poor seating comfort, My shoulder always hits the door when I drive (I am not a heavy person)
