- This is some older footage of a scrimmage match with OneTrickPony when everyone in Alamo was still getting accustomed to the F-15E. The higher fidelity is such a great buff to an already amazing BVR platform. We pretty much exclusively flew the F-15C before this, and just the addition of bullseye references has been an insane improvement in team coordination. Before, all we could do is try, in vain, to track each other visually or to make sure we had some sort of geographic reference to use. With the F-15E though, the game has completely changed, and it is a dream come true.

Nice one!
good stuff , the tac view overlay was nice.
I want to use it more in the future. Do you think there anything that could be improved upon?
id say i would love to have it in a different window in the bottom left or right corner. It was a bit hard to follow with the overlay. Great video though, I've subscribed 😊
Where are you getting your position from Bullseye from in the F-15E? Nice video well done.
Ownship? Bottom right of the HUD
the strike Eagle is so dominant in the BVR !!
great vid especially the tac view overlay was nice
The eagleeee! Tight team work
What's the point of telling your wingmate to "SHUT UP" and then snap at another for going slightly off course.....doesn't sound like a fun team to play with. and then to top it off you shoot your own teammate...ROFL
Lol yea, but those two things I said were to the same guy. My wingman was having trouble maintaining form and cluttering comms, so I was def snappy with him in this. Also, I didn't shoot at any friendlies. I think I know which shot you're talking about, and it wasn't although it looks like that in the tacview.
@@PrezDCS Cool. I guess as long as the wingman doesn't mind, no big deal. It did seem though your missile on the last plane tracked on your wingman. His missile hit but yours seemed to go mad dog on him. I do like the overlay you did. Good vid overall. Sorry if I sounded snobby in my first comment. I just have a pet peeve with people yelling/snapping at people when playing games.
@@JSRJS It's all good man. My missile actually went active on the other guy's missile. Dundun just happened to be in the right place at the wrong time. Also, I have certainly been very snappy with people before, but I've worked on that and since mellowed out. I'm a very competitive person, but this isn't indicative of my usual character.
Time to go hunting for a euro team to join 😛
Most of the Euro teams are mostly one nationality. Should be easy to find a group if you look in the right place
JFC prez, I expected better.
The video overlay is... okay.. but why have it up for the ENTIRE video?
No tactics were used here... you just were clogging comms with no actual 'plan' in effect. You guys were just clogging comms and got heated for NO reason. Maybe look up what a 'chainsaw' looks like and try to put it into practice.
"What heading are you?" That doesn't fing matter, he's defending.
As for the actual defensive and offensive in the strike eagle.. You really don't know how fast you can go in it, do you? You go cold, and you can outrun any A/A missile bar the R-27ER and might just need to put it into a slight bank to defend. You can sling missiles from 45 miles and have them hit most enemies at co-altitude from 45k ft.
Bro, what?
I just expected better man.@@PrezDCS
@@mikmak3mk748 we all do lol
For real though, are you being serious about this rant? Cuz if so, this is all very dumb lol. I’m literally M1.6+ and 45kft at first launch, and we were running a standard grinder, everything was pre-briefed so there’s no reason to talk about it mid-fight. And it’s important to know what heading my wingman is going when he defends so we don’t get too separated. Also, our opponents are known to defend very aggressively so pushing in close for the first pass improves our chances of getting a kill
@@PrezDCS Grinder my ass, look at that coordination.
@@mikmak3mk748 nah it was pretty good, at least between the two elements. The coordination with my wingman was certainly poor lol
