Is Greenwich Worth A Day Trip? (Greenwich London)

- We’ve been wanting to visit Greenwich in London for ages so we took a day trip with our friends to see if it was worth the wait!
We begun our day by exploring the beautiful Greenwich Park and it’s breathtaking views across London but to our disappointment the deer had been relocated.
We took the opportunity to visit the National Maritime Museum with free entry before heading towards Cutty Sark for some delicious street food & our first ever bubble tea.
We ended our day by walking the reputedly haunted Greenwich foot tunnel before a fun ride on London’s DLR.

It’s amazing how all that hold can float 🤣 you have to try bubble tea but try to find an independent one, we tried Bubbleology at the weekend and it didn’t even compare xx

Greenwich is lovely. We went to the observatory back in 2010. Kevin is a super nerd so it was somewhere he had to visit. And he just informed me he wants to visit something else that is there. Hopefully we'll be headed back in the next few years. I imagine the museum would be really interesting. Will have to put that on the to-visit list.

A fun and interesting day out. Poor Percy! The tunnel was cool, so funny when that guy fell off his bike (no cycling allowed in the tunnel)

I love Geenwich, always things to see and do. Looks like you picked a good day weatherwise and it was nice to see Sharon and Jane with you. The street food looked nice. I waited for the drink to whoosh out of the top when you hit it with the straw thing. I used to love Gypsy Tart, too sweet for me now though. Didn't Sharon and Jane want to eat? Glad you had a good day.
They are rather sweet 😂 they didn’t want some street food so they got something from M&S .. they also ate a huge bag of crisps each 😂

Thank you, we are glad you enjoyed the video. Greenwich is easily accessible by the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) which connects to several mainline stations. If you need help navigating London, we would recommend downloading the City mapper app, we always find it helpful.
For me, One Tree Hill is a song by U2. Wikipedia says the U.S. TV series is named after the song, which in turn is named after One Tree Hill in Auckland, New Zealand.
Oh you always provide the facts! I have never seen the programme just heard of it but know the U2 song, never made the connection
Were there no lifts in the tunnel? I’ve not been through it in ages. But when I was a kid the wood panelled old fashioned looking lift even had a lift operator.

We didn’t really, Josh had to work Sunday but we did visit the royal harbour in Ramsgate on Friday if that counts 🤔
