The law firm ad appears to be an homage to "Pushing Daisies" with the bright colors, wide angle shots and camera moves. Nicely done on their part. That said, I'd say that one didn't just "look" expensive, it was likely very expensive.
I always hated the call to action. Now I understand why.
love the effort you put in making your videos
As usual, great stuff here, Jenn - thanks!
I agree with every tip here. Think of the high end perfume/cologne commercials. They don't even really talk about the product. It's just engaging visuals, some minimal voiceover about how the product FEELS (not works), and then an image of the item at the end. simple, clean, effective
Great advice. As much as I hate it, facts don't sell. Emotions do. Which is a problem for me as I hate manipulating others. lol
Outstanding episode, as always! Thank you Jenn 😊
Removing the call to action is a brave move but some thing I did not think of and will try, thank you 👍🏻
I think the less is more on the script is very helpful. I am currently working on writing a script for a project I made, and my script was starting to seem a bit log so I am going to start over. Thank you Jenn!!!
as a marketer and creator myself, these are some solid advices
Thanks! They’re not hard and fast rules for every project but it’s def time to throw out some of the old ideas we’ve all been sticking to for too long.
Great video. Younger voices more current endorsing the fact that ageism is still prevalent. I would say the voice you use depends on your target audience. Great point about the cheesy CTAs and I guess it prequalifies prospects with enough mojo to look you up.
I totally agree about the pre-qualification.
All very useful tips. Very many thanks. Of course, you can't, for voice overs, beat a rich British of Scottish accent (think Sean Connery here). That said, in films (sorry, movies), the villains always seem to be British! There might be a reason for that.
The Brits are scoundrels!
@@JennJager as a Brit my voiceovers have been popular but sadly I’m no longer a younger voice to meet the current trend you cite
