Any additional noise difference the K&N filters make are isolated to the intake side only, as in, you get slightly louder induction noise. The K&Ns don't alter the exhaust noise any bit, if that's what you're asking. The exhaust noise you're hearing in these clips are due to the exhaust set up. All 'custom' muffler deletes sound slightly different depending on the pipe thickness, pipe length, and the bends used to make the section used in place of the muffler. But in most cases, all muffler deletes on the 3.7 Q50 sound similar.

What size pipe did you use for the muffler delete?
Same size as original. 2.25" iirc

When I use to have this set up, yes to drone, no to check engine light. You never get a CEL from a muffler delete.

Where’d you get the lip?
It was off of eBay, it's those 3 piece lips.
Is it stock exhaust?
Yes. Everything else is stock piping. All resonators and cats still on.

I had a shop fabricate some pipes. It's not an actual kit. You can get this done at almost any muffler shop.
