- Acoustic cover of Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits. This video features guitar, bass, cajon, and trombone for a unique cover of a classic song! This cover was created and recorded at home during covid 19. Sultans of Swing was recorded and released on Dire Straight's debut album in 1978 and quickly become one of their greatest hits. I've always loved the song and really enjoyed working on this cover.

I've always imagined this song using a brass section for the voice of the guitar. The trombone part was just about what I imagined.
Love the trombone, so underrated as a unique instrument and sound.

I am 50 years old and I just picked up the guitar. You are among those who have inspired me to give the guitar a try. When daily life allows, I will try to learn. Problem is I have short fat fingers and I’m not exactly the smartest guy. But I am hoping to learn half of what you know.
