Karting 2024-07-03 - Brentwood

My second time at Brentwood. We had two sessions, both are presented here with time cards.
Temperature was about 18 degrees, and the weather was overcast with the occasional rain.
The first session was also the first session of the day, and there had been recent rain so the track was wet. It quickly dried and, by the end of the session, and despite the occasional light rain, the dry line became usable and the fastest for the rest of the session. The last corner complex was still greasy, and affected going through that section.
I got to practice a few wet driving techniques during the start of the session which was nice. I need more practice in the wet.
We had a few competition drivers in the first session.
The second session was busier, and the track was almost completely dry which led to better times. There were quite a few fun overtakes.
I'm lapping consistently slower than my son now. He has improved.
