Hi Dr. Morris. I'm 38 years old and I've never been pregnant. I am now in a relationship trying to get pregnant and I have long periods. Family history of fibroids. My vaginal US was clear and I have normal paps. I am exercising and eating properly and I am tracking ovulation with LH tests. In the last 6 months, my period will be late but the pregnancy tests are negative then, like clockwork, my period comes 7 days late. The next step is going to get bloodwork on my 3rd day of my next cycle. My LH tests seem to identify a peak, but I never get pregnant.

Hello. We have been married for 5 years and have consulted many doctors. They both said there was no problem. We had the latest IUI and we are waiting for the result. only our doctor made a cracking injection on the 10th day and inoculation after 16 hours. Is it the right decision... the eggs are 21 - 15 and 13-12.10 in size.

Hi Doc! I can’t find an answer online, how could my FSH have tripled in 14 months…while on BC before transfer & then pregnant. I’m in shock, the year prior it it was 6.53 then 7.44 now 17.8mIU/ML. (I have endometriosis) age 32. Thought pregnancy pauses things. I’m so worried I won’t be a candidate for another retrieval.

Obviously because you are too old. Teenagers vs mid 30s is a 20 year difference. Those eggs of yours are hitting expiration.

Depends on your egg count and quality too. But higher egg count gives you more opportunities to ovulate a healthy egg. I still have a high egg reserve at 37. This is very individual/genetic thing once you get to this age whether or not you can have a baby without assistance.
