We have been trying for a baby for more than a year.we got tested and my husband has zero percent morphology rate where ideally it has to be above 4% .I did hsg and other hormonal tests and transvaginal ultrasound .My results were looking good .And on the next month even before our next follow up appointments I got conceived .I'm 5 weeks pregnant now.we thought we would never get pregnant and was worried that IVF with ICSI would have been the only solution.Out of the blue this miracle has happened.sending everyone baby dusts❤❤❤we are the example that morphology won't be the major issue in getting conceived. so please don't lose hope keep trying miracle can happen anytime
Many thanks
Ooh thank you for giving me hope..am in the same situation now and doing iui this week..hoping for the best
Congratulations mam
What your husband did?? did he take medicine or vitamins?
@@zarahflower1603 what about ur iui result
I can confirm that morphology didn’t matter much. We had been trying for almost a year when my husband tested his sperm. He had 0% morphology according to that test but above average motility and volume. Literally 2 weeks after my husband got his sperm analysis, I got pregnant so indeed it doesn’t have that big of an impact.
U did IUI or IVF?
Hi ! did your husband take any medicine or vitamins?
You are the real deal! You're not here wanting to sign up to course or sell us supplements. Your videos are straight and to the point all of it backed up by science.
Thanks Dr for always educating us have blessed weekend.
The only time i feel good is when am reading comments becouse my husband has 1% morphology and we failed iui and he took 3months medications but still morphology is same yesterday i had egg retrieval i hope this will work for us
I saw pple saying they got pregnant with 0% morphology
It makes all the sense, and I always wondered how the scientific community had come to the crazy conclusion that only 4 or 1% of sperms are "nornal". It's like using the beauty pattern to say that only the miss women are pretty.
Sometimes the scientists are afraid to say the obvious and address the Elefant in the room.
Thank you for this 🙏🙏
You're welcome! I accept payment in the form of likes and shares ;)
Hi doctor, I am 29 years old, I have been treated for seven years, one fallopian tube is blocked and the other side is less blocked. I did IVF twice and it was negative please help me oprtan is good for open to do thim
We did our 8th cycle of IVF and had the absolute worst level of fertilization yet. The doctor told us the morphology was poor but the eggs were all mature. We used ICSI, zymot, and this cycle we added calcium ionophore. We never had issues with fertilization before. We are floored. We thought IVF + ICSI was the answer to poor morphology even if that was a factor, which it never was before. And we have no answers, and we are running out of money. We have to try again without calcium ionophore or something, because he cut all caffeine out, doesn't drink or smoke, he is overweight but not obese, he is 46. But we did a cycle 2 months prior with no issues with fertilization. I don't get it and it just really is devastating. We're trying everything we can.
Does taking multivitamins and anti-oxidants didn't helped too to improve morphology?
Any updates? We are planning for icsi
Hello
Does morphology affect embryo quality? And does it affect IQ or other health parameters?
Hello Doc, If general anesthesia is given during embryo transfer, does it affect success rate?
During embryon transfer u are awake … u won’t feel anything . You are only sleeping when u have ur eggs retrieve ( local anesthesia not general ) . Good luck 🤞🩷
Doc, can a woman who is body has activated antibodies still get pregnant? Pardon me, I know I derailed from the main topic.
Yes
My sperm count is 502 million total count
My concentration count is 76 million
My motility is 64 %
My total progressive is 63%
Non progessive is 1%
My ph level is 8.3
My morphology is 3% I had a fever 3 months ago and had to take a course of antibiotics could this
effect my morphology. I dont understand if this is bad and my doctor clealry doesnt seem to care. I am now very worried they never explained just sent me them to me.
This is actually perfect. Congrats and relax
@@AminaAmina-cp9hg Amina are you sure 3% morphology is perfect and normal
What about high DNA fragmentation, over 37%? Could this prevents getting pregnant?
He has a video about DNA fragmentation. Take a look
M Not good in English..morphology only dosent matter in iui and ivf or it also doesn’t matter in normal pregnancy?
The study says uiu. It doesn't say anything about regular intercourse
ICSI
May i know the journals that this video was based on??
Fertil Steril Rep 2021;2:16-21
I got a morphology score of 3% today was got super scared.
@@joshuayork8362 same here. I had my analysis today but got 3% morphology. I don't know if I should try another test because I abastained for 10 days. I'm scared too. Update me bro
Now you can rest easily
why does sperm donation require a sperm morphology over 4% for most sperm banks?
In the past, morphology was though to be important. It takes a long time to change things that were deeply ingrained in practice
@@InfertilityTVI hope you will read my comment and reply to me. I had a semen analysis today, my motility count, volume and progressive motility was super excellent but have a 3% morphology. I am now worried. Can I increase it
