I noticed that (BETA) transmission flash description, I thought that’s still under development, thank you for clearing that up and testing it, I didn’t realize that’s actually good to go, that’s next for my F30 335i xdrive, 👍
gotta watch the brother even while on vacation! Man I can't wait to get back so I can flash mine as well. My upshift farts disappeared after I tuned mine so hopefully this will make it work.

So I flashed the transmission tune on my Msport after doing the stage 1 93 tune. This thing is way aggressive. The car wants to go and gets up quickly when you let it. At lower speeds driving in the city and the suburbs, the car vibrates because of the high gear low speed. It's really obvious. I don't like it. I went back to the factory which is crazy smooth and has the power when called for. with the stage 1 tune. The high end speed and shifts are amazing though. I am not willing to trade of for the vibrations at low speeds.

change from 3 to 4, 4 to 5, 5 to 6, don't you notice a small problem?

@@jpbredenkamp5091 Would be good if it displayed d1, d2 , d3 etc as you go through the gears as opposed to just displaying the letter d regardless of what gear you are in.

Yeah no the tune changes the actual shift points, increases torque limits, and shifts more aggressively. No illusions here buddy

Since you already had coded the Sports Transmission with BimmerCode, does this BM3 Transmission Flash over-write that one? Or how do those work in tandem exactly?
I just did this flash (hence watching the video) and I had SAT programmed in, and it's still there. At the end of the flash it says "restoring coding" so I'd imagine it brings back any transmission coding you'd done.

Hey i did this flash today and i am experiencing some jerk when i put the car into drive, is this normal? the car sort of jerks or jolts when i throw it in drive
So I flashed it again to try in manual mode. I wasn't aware that the car still shifted by itself in this mode. Its absolutely perfect in all phase now. The vibration before came from the transmission being in 6th gear at low 30 to 40 MPH speed. That's all gone in manual mode. It stays in the appropriate gear and holy crap, the aggressive feel is there when needed but still very smooth.

I bought bootmod3 for my 340i after watching this video couldn’t be happier but theres no transmission tune for it.
You need the bundle in order to get the trans flash

due to the m5 having a similar transmission, and that car needing insane shift speeds I think it definitely would be possible to increase the speed of our shifts substantially.

I flashed my transmission today and no difference, if anything it shifts slower than the latest BMW firmware for the trans especially in sport and sport+. Pretty disappointed. I've opened a ticket with BM3, we'll see what they say.

@@ThicWhips I just flashed my transmission during my lunch haha. I'm on stage 2 right now and the shifting is sooo much better. It would always shift early in gear 3 but now it stays on it longer. Super smooth and quick shifting!

Thats why people pay about 1000 euro extra for a sport transmission. U dont have a sport transmission in your car. I can tell you that my car in sport + and sport mode on is very aggressiv shifting it really pulls u bakwards and is supra quick :)
I dont know if the product date of the car has a roll on how good transmission shifts are or if its a newer engine like b48
