Just installed the VRSF downpipe and AWE touring exhaust in my F30. I was just thinking about buying BM3 and work with laptop. Now I’m getting this setup. Thanks
It works great! I had it in beta with an iPad Air 2 and the ethernet to lightning adapter and it was working flawlessly. Glad the Android adapter works now, will try my phone when I get home. I had already bought that adapter also. Great vid. Thanks
For IOS users you need to download TestFlight app, Then download BM3 Beta for iOS , google it I’m here breaking my neck thinking it’s 100 different problems and it wasn’t plug and play 😐😐 but hope this helped everyone
This looks great because it would be much easier to use my phone rather than a lap top. However, it doesn't appear that the adapter will work with my Galaxy S7 phone. It has a micro USB port. Any suggestions?
Keis.... have you noticed that when you take a F80 into the bmw dealership for service and it accidentally gets updated...Bootmod3 doesnt have a solution to let you reflash your system...This happened to me on my X5 and my M3

Reached out to Pro Tunning Freaks and solved my problem. Just download Test flight app and downgrade to beta app. Then follow the instructions on this video. It seems the app it’s still on beta for the Ethernet/lightning route. The regular mobile app seems to only work with wi-fi ODB agent thingy.
No laptops were harmed in the making of this video
** UPDATE: This functionality is currently available in the BETA for BM3. We're waiting on a date for when it will be released into the public version

When you watch “Office Space” then remember you have to go flash tune your BMW.

You can, there are several maps for stock cars which require no hardward modifications.

I just connected my phone to the car opened bootmod3 and it worked perfectly.. no need to mess with any network config..?

Tried on my galaxy s10+ and it wouldn't connect, tried the cable and adapter to connect to my home router and it worked. Not sure what's wrong...

Same here! Maybe disconnect battery and try again. This always does it when flashing with PC. I’ve tried everything and no soup for me😡
