      Jamie Michelle Sage so was I. Until almost 3 quarters of a year ago or something like that. Until recently I thought trump was satan. Until I realized the things I heard about him weren't 100% true. Everything me or my family heard was off of cnn which I didn't know the credibility of. My mom still thinks trump is all bad. And some peeps I know believe in the trumpocalypse. I honestly don't know shit about trump because I don't know what's credible. My only sources I've been given, being my cnn watching mother and cnn itself, all claim that trump is a lying racist faggot. While I have been given a few examples of his lies such as apparently he said he never met Vladimir or how he had the biggest inauguration attendence number, I don't even know if that's true. Apparently there are pictures that prove he's lying but I never saw them so I can't say it's true.

    A lot of LGBT people get automatically surrounded by progressivism, because it's got its claws in all our political and cultural stuff. The victim complex especially bothers me, in retrospect. I was encouraged to blame my life issues on being gay and "oppression". It's clear now, while discrimination is certainly real, it wasn't responsible for a lot going on. I would have done better just reading more, eating better, developing better habits; than worrying about sociopolitical anything.

      Entitled Bernie bots like to blame big corporations for influencing government to cut tax for the wealthy, and prevent FREE medical care, FREE education, and demand for higher minimum wage. But nothing in this world is free. It is survival of the fittest. PURE SCIENCE! If those losers are capable enough, they will get off their lazy ass for blaming the government for losing their coal mining jobs, or working in a job that pays too little, and start their own businesses. This is a fair world. The most capable wins, the losers will die off.

    This is definitely true. I also used to be an SJW and now that I've changed (and also studying psychology) I've noticed all of these things too and it makes me feel bad for them. I had a low self esteem and was dealing with depression at the time, which I've noticed a lot of SJWs deal with as well. To me it just makes it clear that we have a huge mental health problem among these kinds of people and bringing myself out of it made me want to help bring them out of it too.

    • @mariasja1234
      @mariasja1234 Před 7 lety

      Just think about it Blaire's so strong that (s)he went through enormous pain, body mutilation through plastic surgery, huge money investment in those things and work her/his ass out etc only to fit society's gender stereotypes. Studying psychology still didn't let you see that for some reason.
      Maybe people should just let themselves be vulnerable and not to have a huge inferiority complex about it because they can only cover it while bragging how ''strong'' they are. But ''strong'' can have many different meanings for each individual as it turns out and as I showed in my comment. Psychology comes into play again, but you didn't notice that. Because we all have vulnerable sides and part of being fully grown and developed is acknowledging and embracing this side. Definitely not overconforming, self-hatered and breaking your own self for it to become something suitable to society's stereotypes and sacrificing your own personal thoughts and perspective.
      The real problem is ''SJW's'' are the part of the system and they turn something that is political and challeging into something that fits neoliberal hegemony, something totally individualistic and something that is totally unthreatening to the system.

      When I have employees like you, I always tell them, don't talk to me in paragraphs. Go back and condense what you have to say into bullet points. Then come back and support those bullet points with facts. All of those people have gone on to be very successful in business because they learned to effectively communicate with a mass of different people. This is due to the fact that they learned to express their point without a ton of unnecessary jargon! Good God, use bullet points!!!

      Jacabo Blanco SJWs hate Trump voters as they think they are racist. Bernie Sanders has defended Trump voters, not very SJW if you ask me. For the epitome of SJWs, I can link articles where he has been criticised for defending white supremacy. Also again SJWs want to silence free speech, Sanders doesn't and that is the difference. He is willing to debate and have a conversation, SJWs sit there and go "NO!" to any kind of conversation. He may hold views you don't agree with, but unless he wants to silence you, doesn't want a conversation, he isn't a SJW. SJWs to me want to silence the conversation.

    Oh snap. So many of us WERE SJWs at some point. Like someone pointed out, for me, the phase lasted from the ages of 21 to about 23. I was in college and I, unfortunately, found myself in a social justice warrior group. They told me they are for equality and I was like: "Equality is good! I am for equality too!" so I started intensely listening to them and hanging on their every word. With time though, things started to fall apart. I could not understand why it is not OK for the majority to attack the minority but the opposite was tolerated. I did not agree that all men are rapists. I maintained ties with my youth pastor, who was pro-life and that got me in a lot of trouble with this group. Slowly, but surely, I realized it is all crap. Since then, I have discovered (for the most part) who I AM and what I BELIEVE IN, so it would be much harder to manipulate me now.

With time I thought that I needed to be one, so I slowly became a... dumb, self-centered asshole. Thankfully, it didn't last long, because I started feeling worse and worse about their ideology forced down my throat. A girl that was against feminist messaged me and after a long talk with her, I realized how strung along I was all this time. After a few talks with her I became an anti too. To be fair, I don't think there's any difference between the SJWs and Antis in this regard. The anti-feminists think their lack of success, with work, with women, with sex, financially etc. is due to feminism or that minorities have too many 'special rights' and that us white men are so discriminated against. My unpopular opinion is, that for the most part, both the SJWs and the anti-SJWs are two sides of the same coin. They are both consisted of desperate people unsatisfied with the general direction of the world, looking for some purpose to fill their lives with. The only difference is superficial, and has to do with demographics. If you're gay, or trans, or non-white you're more likely to fall into the SJW group because they accept you faster, while if you're straight, white and male, you're more likely to fall into the Anti-Sjw group because you'll get more acceptance from people who are like you. Either way, the mentality is more or less the same, which is that "we're falling behind and unsatisfied and it's the fault of the "other". In reality, both sides are consisted of people just trying to cope in a radically changing world, with a declining economy and stability. Rather than hang on to these extreme ideas on either end of the spectrum, it's probably the healthiest for us to consider what makes us happy individually in our lives and seek out for that. To try to better ourselves and be the example we wish to see in the world.

      Alex Volkov I agree- though people are far more complex and balanced in their ideology than what this video makes them out to be- "sjws" or "conservative biggots" don't fully exist, as people are all different and have varrying fiscal and social ideologies, though some people lean farther to one end of the spectrum than others.

      @raisetheroof1492 Před 4 lety +3

      I'm sad to not see this opinion be more popular.
      I'm against the SJW mentality, but I don't think that SJW's are genuinely bad people or that every single one of them hates men or heterosexuals or whatever. Truth is is that some people in our country do experience sexism, homophobia, and sometimes even racism. Don't misunderstand me, because I'm not saying that we live in a country where those issues are systematic and unavoidable- because it's the exact opposite if anything. However, some women may have grown up with a sexist father or an uncle who would sexually assault them- leading them to think that they live in a world of oppression- and even speaking of LGBT members who were thrown out of the house at 17 and grown up thinking that the world is harder on them, knowing that their sexuality is what put them on the streets.
      That's why I don't automatically despise anyone that calls themselves a "feminist" or equal rights advocate or any similar terms because they probably lived a different life then I did. Just because you don't experience xenophobia doesn't mean that nobody else does.
      When people use equality and feminism to justify hate, that's when I stop respecting them though. That's my .02 on the whole SJW vs Conservative debate.

    • @zebnemma
      @zebnemma Před 4 lety +1

      I'm anti-SJW and atleast where I've been looking I haven't seen people blaming others for their problems, to be anti-SJW but do the same things that SJWs do that would be contradictory and I have not seen that. But I don't live in the US so... I just watch anti-SJW youtubers from America that I think are reasonable and do not blame their problems on anyone. But if what you say is true then yes that would be equally as retarded.

    • @raisetheroof1492
      @raisetheroof1492 Před 4 lety +3

      @@zebnemma Trust me, it's a thing. There are a lot of conservative CZcamsrs that are reasonable, but a lot of people who are extremely anti-sjw and hate them are a lot of times the same people that say that men are oppressed and "are slaves" and all this other nonsense. Yes, men have disadvantages, but they aren't slaves or oppressed.
      Got side tracked, but back to the point- sjw's and anti-sjw's (one's that are near polar opposite) are both cringe in most cases.

    The SJW movement kind of reminds me of Animal House. The pigs try to make their own system, saying it's to benefit the others. They chase out the man and try to govern themselves. However, the greedy pigs of the group then twist reality and truths making the good animals, including the good pigs, look awful. The ones that mean well leave due to the pressure and violence posed by the greedy pigs. The pigs make others do work for them as they receive the only true benefits of the other's sufferings. They break their own rules, becoming what they said the other animals should despise. Then they make up bullshit excuses why they do the things they do and tell the others not to think too deeply on it.
    Basically, they look like a satirical play of communism. Except, it's gone passed the "satirical" label and became a sad reality.

I'm hoping to change that and this video just gave me even more motivation to change. Thank you.

    I was an SJW for three years because their ideology twisted my self hatred and redirected it somewhere else. I was outed to my parents as gay and then stumbled upon their ideology not long after. Those three years where the most depressing years of my life because I felt like I had no control and no power and it made me miserable. Now I'm a proud Gay 15 year old, my relationship with my parents is so much better and I've realized I AM in control and no one else.

      AllyB you're absolutely right, I'm actually trying to transition into being a vegetarian myself. The problem is that there is this vegan, internet culture that has become almost religious in a way. They constantly degrade those that don't share the same morals as them and try to actively convert people. It's associated to SJW s because they often have similar ideologies and hypocrisies. Nothing wrong with being vegan, just those trying to shove it down people's throats the same way that they complain about religious people.

      Meh, it happens. I have never been a SJW as I am much older, but this is what I have learned as a rule of thumb. If you do not know much about a subject or if your beliefs are not subject to rigorous scrutiny, assume that they are likely wrong and keep an open mind. I can go on about topics that I am still learning but they would go way over your head.
      Keep learning and love your life and family all the time. We will die just a little less ignorant than we were born but that little knowledge per generation is enough to make a world of difference to mankind.

    This was great. My favorite video of yours so far Blaire. This video accurately described my ex in about 8 minutes. She couldn't see the victim complex she had and the negativity it brought to her life. She always felt the need to say how she is a feminist, and always felt the need to express her opinions, along with demonized anyone who disagreed. She couldn't see how miserable this made her, and how this was affecting people around her, including me.
    I'm glad I left her. Keep speaking that good shit blaire!

      Lol but feminism is literally teh belief that both genders are equals, like what people who identify as feminist and what feminism actually is completely different. If you're not a feminist you're either sexist towards men or towards women, that's how language work. Instead of fighting the word feminism just fight fake feminist who are actually mysandrists.

      aimar rodriguez: Sorry, but you're wrong.
      Feminism can't exist without assumptions of gender being unequal. If feminism didn't have "the patriarchy" to blame for everything, the point of feminism would be moot.
      Feminists like to lie and decieve people that it's all about "gender equality", but people truly into gender equality treats all gender based injustices on equal terms and disregard the gender of the victims. While feminists drink cups of "male tears" when it's proven that men are bigger victims to certain aspects of sexism and put womens issues on a pedestal.
      This feminist behaviour is NOT the behaviour of someome genuinely interested in gender equality. They are nothing but self-righteous liars and crooks.
