I could live in a tomb for a year with a body. I was a CNA who's job was to bath recently deceased people for barely more than minimum wage. I'm also an only child. I grew up with a single mom who worked two jobs. I got used to being alone and entertaining myself. COVID shut down was a breeze for me. I prefer to be alone. As long as I had Internet or books, puzzles ect for boredom relief, food, blankets, a way to bathe myself Id be cool. Sleep during the day and do some gardening at night in the cemetery. I live in AZ so I'm use to doing yardwork when it cools off at night. Wish someone would offer me this challenge. I need the money!!!

Maybe I'm weird but I've always found cemeteries and grave markers quite fascinating. I don't make a habit of hanging out in cemeteries but when I've gone to visit relatives' graves to put flowers on them etc., I usually walk around the cemetery before leaving because each grave marker is quite beautiful and unique. I've visited Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, it's unusual, and so huge, better to take a guided tour (which I did), and there are definitely some areas that give off creepy vibes depending on where you are while walking through it.
No Way could I imagine going there after dark.

I like the very old hand carved ones. While in Charleston SC ,I visited Fort Sumter , and then cemeteries close by. They were huge and the oldest hand carved tombstones I’d ever seen.

That sitting a year with a dead person grave is like solitary confinement to me and I have seen many men who have completely lost their mind while being alone for so long in a small room with no one to talk to is really crazy to put yourself through such a difficult situation being alone with the dead person with not having someone else to talk with Amen!!!!

FYI If you have a historical cemetery on family land - register it and get a sign put up. Your family may or may not own the land but they definitely own the burial plots. The land cannot be sold but people have resorted to removing headstones leaving unsuspecting buyers not knowing they are building on top of a cemetery.

The house that we used to live in was in a city that had a nice small lake nearby and the wild geese decided to move into that property with the lake and it was surrounded by very well kept grass and it was fenced and next to the major intersection in the middle of the city. There must have been at least 100 geese living there or more. We had the worst hailstorm that I have ever seen the hail stones were as big as baseballs if not bigger. It destroyed everybody’s roof and they had a regulation were everybody’s house had to have a cedar shingle roof which looks pretty when it weathers to a soft gray but it is very brittle and it is nailed to little thin strips of wood. The roofs were completely destroyed in the whole area, car windows were broken and there were at least 4 or 5 car dealers who had a ton of new cars sitting on their lots and they all got severely damaged. The poor geese were all killed by blows to their heads. That storm and the extreme cost to the insurance company forced them to change the rules about the roofing, they passed a law that the homeowners could use asphalt shingle roofs after that because they realized that the cedar roofs was too expensive and they didn’t hold up.

@ 12:23 in the video the Narrator mentioned the town I am currently in at the exact time in the video when they show LOEWS MOVIE THEATRE in New Brunswick,NJ n it was cool to hear. I literally live a 5min walk away from the burial site of the woman they spoke of in the video,which is in the parking lot of a movie theatre I frequent often. After seeing The City of the Dead, where you aren't supposed to return if you go in, I can see why someone started the legend. They don't want people to see how poorly they care for their dead.
That account about the mom, who had the window put on her daughter's tomb, so she could look in on her, stay with her, and comfort her during a storm, is heartbreaking.
I couldnt stay in a tomb with a dead body for a day. The woman sounds like she was pretty morbid. I worked in pathology and unfortunately, I've been in the morgue countless times. I have never liked being in there, especially alone. I would love to know what made the woman come up with such a crazy offer in her Will. I have to find more information on the story, because I have a million questions. Lol how did the person get food, while attempting to stay in the tomb fot a year and a day, if they weren't permitted to have human contact? Can you imagine how different you would be, after a year alone with a rotting corpse? Was she atleast embalmed, frozen? Like I said...morbid! I do believe its enough to drive someone insane. Isolation for long periods of time can cause mental health issues, and thats not even adding a corpse into the equation. I like being alone sometimes, but I wouldn't if I knew it would be for an extended period of time. Yea..that story has be bug'n lmao! I think she just wanted company in her tomb. I feel her on that. I don't like the idea of being in the ground, with snakes and worms and all kinds of creepy crawlies.
