The book The Shining is much better than the movie. All of King's books are. But the one that freaked me out the most was Salem's Lot. Strictly because I was a young teen reading it at home alone during the summer. The fam was gone for most of the day and when they returned I was sitting outside in 100 degree heat and full sun. Nobody asked any questions but I did get the side eye. I finished the book but only read it when someone else was home 😂
I re-read Salems Lot a few years ago as a grown woman and I was so terrified I wouldn't go to bed without my husband, even then I was afraid to look at the foot of my bed. 😮

It wasn't until I quit carrying guilt for who I was and stopped trying to be who everyone told me to be, to find a true connection with Source. Coming from a white witch..shamans, healers, Reiko practitioners, and many more alike could just as easily be your neighbors. So, while you choose to fear what you don't understand, just try to grasp this...some of the same people you want to condem for being "different", may have pocketed some wisdom you've been too blessed to have had to face, so far. Maybe their brush with death awakened their soul. Opened gifts. Or gave them a deeper perspective of life as a whole. I send my neighbors healing, protection, peace, guidance and comfort for their journeys. I was a Big Reader..always found th books..better than th movies... expecially if the writer is VERY descriptive. It allows the reader to use their imagination to bring the sceens and people to life in your mind.

I saw one of those root-tree beings on a CZcams clip about what drones have photographed from the air, so the shot is looking down on the thing, and it looks pretty large and is really creepy.

I collect "banned" books. Some things are definitely inappropriate for young children but adults should access to any book they want to read.

The map image at 8:47 is interesting, as it depicts the African, European, India, and Russia countries. You can clearly see Ethiopia, India, the Gulf of Aden, the Red Sea, etc... And it curiously shows the angels around the map who blow the winds into the earth, which legends speak of.

The movie The Exorcist came out in 1973. I remember going to see it at the movie theater on the military base where I live. I think I covered my eyes most of the time, it scared the crap out of me. I was 15 at the time. Great memories.
Been told whenever you buy things in stores, before you take them into your home pray over them that if any evil spells or incantations have been placed on them, that Christ will dispell them. YES, that's a real thing ... businesses intentional cursing objects that people buy, completely ignorant to the fact they just bought a curse, that may come with a evil spirit! Where I live, about 4-5 apartments done, some woman does 'readings' .. of what no idea, but every time I pass her door, I invoke the sign of the cross, and pray for protection and for guidance that people NOT buy into the lies she charges for .. and to protect her from herself from the evil that tricks her into thinking she does right. I debated on even making a post, because I understand all too well how up in arms people get about their religion/spirituality.
I just wanted to shine a little wisdom and some light on some information I've gained along my own personal journey.
"GOD" loves you, no matter what. Everything else is a distraction.
I've had multiple near death/death experiences, and no matter where I was in life, whether ODing in a cul-de-sac or bleeding out while giving birth to my youngest baby (completely sober, at thos point)...my experiences with the divine were ALWAYS the same.
Peace, love, warmth, comfort, safety, home, etc..
But with all of that, I come here to say, even though I know God (Source, The Universe) I've come to deepen said relationship by not being so rigid in my ability to perceive or comprehend.
I grew up in a local Southern Baptist Church...but they didn't have it all right. I traveled to different churches. Tried many different denominations...didn't feel like genuine truth.
It wasn't until I quit carrying guilt for who I was and stopped trying to be who everyone told me to be, to find a true connection with Source.
Coming from a white witch..shamans, healers, Reiko practitioners, and many more alike could just as easily be your neighbors.
So, while you choose to fear what you don't understand, just try to grasp this...some of the same people you want to condem for being "different", may have pocketed some wisdom you've been too blessed to have had to face, so far. Maybe their brush with death awakened their soul. Opened gifts. Or gave them a deeper perspective of life as a whole.
I send my neighbors healing, protection, peace, guidance and comfort for their journeys. If that makes me a bad person for being a practitioner, I know (from experience) I can die in peace with that. ❤
