How would you remove that glue again from an OX rubber?

I suppose the tape is meant to prevent the sheet to curl up. Especially a Dawai is very thin. Great idea. However my concern is about the coulour of the blade. Very dark in relation to the red pips. Would that be legal.

Since 2021, the use of rubbers of a color other than red (excluding black) has been permitted, as long as they are approved by the ITTF. However, the other side of the racket must remain black. So the regulation is clear, it must be different from black. So if the wood of the frame is a little darker and makes the rubber slightly less bright red it's fine. However, an excellent idea for gluing rubbers with peace of mind.

Why is pip's bonding with adhesive tape necessary?

It does not damage the grip of the pips when you remove it?
