    You make it seems so simple. I always have a big headache trying to fix those little slimy and floppy bastards on the blade! xD

      We use this product to roll it off using friction: www.customtabletennis.co.uk/product/table-tennis-blade-rubber-glue-residue-remover/

    Hi Steve. Do you rate the hellfire X over the dtecs both in ox? If so why

    • @CustomTableTennis
      @CustomTableTennis  Před 4 měsíci

      Steve prefers the Hellfire X because it has the perfect balance of effect and control for his game. The Grass Dtecs is very effective but can be hard to control because of the extra speed.

    Which is better sponge or no sponge?

    • @CustomTableTennis
      @CustomTableTennis  Před 4 měsíci

      Pimples without sponge are more effective and ideal if you play close up to the table or want to slow the game down. When you add sponge this speeds up the rubber so you can stand further back but the trade off is you lose some of the effect. Neither is better it just depends on your play style and what you want the rubber to achieve. Thanks for watching!

      So if I like to attack the no sponge is better and is that also approve in the ITTF Rules?@@CustomTableTennis

      @@joashlex Yeah, the OX version (pimples with no sponge) is totally approved by ITTF, no worries about that. And, as the author said, you can attack with the OX pimple, but it's more effective if you are close to the table. In general, if you want to be a chopper and already have some experience using OX pimples, than you might wanna try using a pimple-out rubber with sponge, than you'll gain speed but will lose some control.
