From the producers of the Jurassic, Bourne and Indiana Jones series comes Twisters, a current-day chapter of the 1996 blockbuster, Twister. Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, the Oscar-nominated writer-director of Minari, Twisters stars Golden Globe nominee Daisy Edgar-Jones (Where the Crawdads Sing, Normal People) and Glen Powell (Anyone But You, Top Gun: Maverick) as opposing forces who come together to try to predict, and possibly tame, the
immense power of tornadoes.
Edgar-Jones stars as Kate Cooper, a former storm chaser haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado during her college years who now studies storm patterns on screens safely in New York City. She is lured back to the open plains by her friend, Javi to test a groundbreaking new tracking system. There, she crosses paths with Tyler Owens (Powell), the charming and reckless social-media superstar who thrives on posting his storm-chasing adventures with his raucous crew, the more dangerous the better.
As storm season intensifies, terrifying phenomena never seen before are unleashed, and Kate, Tyler and their competing teams find themselves squarely in the paths of multiple storm systems converging over central Oklahoma in the fight of their lives.

The part about the tornado destroying the theater-starting with pulling chunks of the roof and then tearing off the entire wall and screen-is my most favorite one ever!
I just hope the ost score music for this film is good and intense

I feel like it was a nod to what happened at the Mayfield, Kentucky movie theater in 2021.
So surprised that during whole movie no romance was presented, pure passion into tornados and science.

I saw it right now in switzerland in 4dx - holy moly was this intense. You felt like you are with the actors driving and running from storm etc. etc. All in one just an epic movie, which gonna watch with my mom. For her the first time of this movie and for me twice. 🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️

The original one is the best. I own the DVD. And right now, it's on Max. I've watched it at least 6 times in the last 2 weeks 😅. It never gets old.

Just watched it movie was great I loved it.
I went to see this because my brother wanted to. I thought it would only be cool at the theater because of the visuals: but it was honestly one of the most entertaining movies I’ve seen in a long time. I saw Horizon (an American saga) last week thinking it was going to be phenomenal and I couldn’t have been more wrong. Two thumbs up for Twisters 👍🏻👍🏻

they did a VERY good job. most of the tornadoes im the movie are what could happen in reality! They filmed where my mom and grandparents are from. Was so cool watching this with them!
