Another excellent vid, just note those USBs in the cab have a one hr power on time after shutdown. They will reset anytime you open the door to one hr. Not a big deal, the power usage is small. Your phone may try to connect to the box if you are close to the garage while at home during this hour. Or you can just unplug the box when you are home.

Question: Did you end up tuning your truck and if so what did you go with?
Can you use the trucks onboard wifi for the hot spot?
Is there a lag between audio and video when watching videos?
I was thinking about one of these, Question i had and cant find and answer is if someone calls you on your phone while the box is running can you answer it over the speaker? Also can you run navigation on the bottom panel at the same time.
I just plug a usb Cable in 😊😅
Do you need a PC to set everything up and install apps etc? I've been wanting one since i got my new truck but i don't have a PC.. my truck does have unlimited wifi data and it's an Android based UI and my phone is Android..

Any issue so far? I had a adapter for wireless andriod auto and now my media doesn't work at all and lost andriod auto altogether

I have a 2005 and put a screen in it myself for under $300 for everything 😎
My Magic Box 2.0 never lights up blue when plugged in. Just blinks purple. And won’t show up on CarPlay. Any ideas?
I can’t say I’m an expert on them I’d probably reach out to their team for a solution

I also have a 17 ram and dont have carplay. Rams started carplay in 2018. I dont think this will work for my 17. Keep that hammerdown
