The activated oxygen generated by the OXYDATOR is mostly dissolved directly in the water, the oxygen supply is completely silent. The whirling up of the substrate (mulm) and the expulsion of carbon dioxide is completely avoided. Since activated oxygen diffuses much faster than dissolved oxygen, it also reaches flow-free corners and niches of your water body, penetrates the substrate and makes it an ideal biological filter. Harmful intermediate products such as hydrocarbons and nitrite are oxidized to largely harmless end products such as water, carbon dioxide and nitrate.
