you are really talented!!! I cried...
I could only dream of being in the church whilst you are playing this, you are incredibly talented thank you so much for sharing this video clip with the world :)
You are so talented! My family and i loved watching you! I'm from México.
Don't worry. Fortunately we have reliable weapons against ads that allow us to fully enjoy Your talent. So far, this is my favourite version. I'd love to hear it IRL.

Yes, we have that weapons ;)
But not in my tv :(
Church organ: "It's not possible"
Wanying Lin: "No, it's necessary"
Wonderful!
Epic
😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻
You won!
It was written to be played on the organ.
Unbelievable. That must have been such an experience, breaking the absolute silence in this church with this masterpiece. Bravo!
Can you imagine actually being there? Standing alone in this fully empty, huge, magnificent basilica, where you can literally hear nothing more than your own breath and heartbeat or being there 1 vs 1 with Wanying Lin listening to her breathtaking performance live and forget about everything else for about 8 minutes? She really do astonish with her talent. How grand it must be to hear her playing live.
Brava *
@@gionefe323 In English and many other languages bravo is the correct form, as it is used differently, though boroughed from Italian. You'd say bravo about the performance or achievement, not the person itself. Saying brave or brava is not how English adopted it. Panini is not plural either in English.
@@MorningNightingale u would have forgotten time, and space, or ur body aswell
and to add, its the only good purpose for a church, to play that song there. fuck churches but that song is just epic.
I hope Zimmer’s music is remembered in the same way Beethoven, Debussy, and Liszt are. His music is on another level and will become immortalised when he passes away (the sad reality of art).
He will be. Especially rain man....
You and I are the same page. Everytime I describe Hans Zimmer to others who may not recognize him by name, i'll say "He is a modern day Mozart" (just to make them understand).
Listening to his work everyday. Undeniably remarkable.
I am pleb. No clue who Liszt is
@@jagx234 you do know him, I mean, at least one of his masterpiece: Hungarian Rhapsody n°2, look for it, you will recognize it.
@@jagx234 I guarantee you've heard his music! In the age of the internet and "hey google/Alexa/Siri" it would take less than five seconds to find out who Liszt is/was and what his most popular/well-known pieces are. And w/o those voice-tools, you can search the internet in less than 10 seconds!
For those of you who do not understand!
There are 3 octaves that are used as a primary layer - High, Medium and Low. Also the tick of the clock every second.
These 3 octaves denotes the 3 age versions of his daughter Murph. High note - the Kid Murph, Medium note - The adult Murph and the Low note the Aged Murph. These 3 Octaves also denote the rate of passage of Cooper's time when he makes the Maneuver. Low Octave means the time is passing steadily, Medium Octave means the Time is Passing faster, and High Octave meant the Time is Passing Rapidly, there is even higher Octave used for a slight time denote the Time is passing a super rapid speed.
Then in the end everything slows down and get back to normal for them. The greatest Time-Sound maneuver I have ever listened to. An absolute masterpiece!
2:40 Cooper passes among all 3 versions of Murph, Kid high note, Adult Medium note and Adult low note. All 3 octaves playing together.
What a beauty!
And time goes by so slowly
And time can do so much
Thank you

Yes, Just the time during this track, later you go out and return to do what you doing before...
What People dont understand is that they're getting this for free at CZcams. Incredible performance.
you dont understand how much this saved my life tonight. when i am depressed classical music makes me feel okay and interstellar is the soundtrack i normally go to when i feel like this. i am always looking for new versions or covers of the music from this movie and this was absolutely beautiful. thank you.
🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
for me too, one of my favourites I go to when I need a pick me up
i was once close to a collapse, and y, this movie, this sound, and one more cover, and im back
Play Satie Gynopedia in one tab, then open other tab and play a rainstorm. It's nostalgic bliss.
I love this Song and understand the emotions that It makes feel, but this Is not classical music.
You might be listening to a true Interstellar interpretation if you’re weeping and you don’t know why.
*I got that reference.gif*
Thats true.
You are describing me at this precise moment.
You got me there buddy
I know why I'm weeping. Because it's Interstellar.
I love how the organ looks like the inside of the tesseract!
My thoughts exactly
in fact the big window and black thing looks like the ENDURANCE!
And the shadows in the dust of the room like organ pipes
We live in a real tesseract inside a multiverse
@@sebastianolivares3021omg I noticed the tesserect but not notice this one, exactly!
Definitely the best version of this song on the internet. The sound of the organ on the empty church just gives me chills every time!
Same here
I agree 💯
I think that I would have to also agree.
Agree
Je trouve aussi que c'est la meilleure version. Des frissons dans tout le corps. Très belle cathédrale de Toulouse ❤️
I am always fascinated by organs, because they are quite a whole orchestra on their own! And the acoustics of churches are just on point for these monumental instruments. I can't only imagine how you might feel like the king or queen of the world playing such a beautiful instrument!
I believe that the organ is very often underestimated as a musical instrument. Why, why is it never used? Seems to be relegated to a “church instrument”!
It’s very particular as an instrument and difficult to play, but the multitude of sound it can make is spectacular!
The size of it is the main limit of its utilisation. You can't have a real organ as powerful everywhere.
Organ repair and maintenance is also a dying art. A church in my city tossed its two-story organ and bought a sound system because they couldn't afford to maintain the organ or find qualified people to play it.
Because it's big and expensive (250 k for a cheap one, millions for historical reconstructions), so basically the only place you can learn to play it is in a church. There are compact digital organs for as low as 10 k, but that's not nearly the same.
Listen to Jimmy Smith and his Hammond organ! The best!
how is the church organ ever underestimated? it conjures up image of grandeur the moment you mention it.
pretty sure u came in expecting epicness when u saw the title. it is not used as often as other keyboards due largely to people simply not having the chance to play them.
organs are literally the coolest and one of the most stunning instruments. i just found this piece today and it had me crying. so beautiful. it’s a shame they’re so big so they aren’t popular. the size just makes it all the more powerful though. i would LOVE to be in a big room like this with an organ playing. the power and emotion it brings is just unmatched.
LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER bought a church organ, which was in some guys *house,* in (mostly) working condition, spanning multiple rooms (obviously lol).
I _believe_ he has it setup in his small shop _(but _*_maybe_*_ his house?),_ similarly shoehorned in there, but still working... fixed up, actually, as there were a number of things wrong (having degraded).
Best part is, he's a young guy, a musician, with a love for the analog (specializing in old synths). So he owns all kinds of crazy stuff like that.
These old cathedrals and intelligently created instrument (organ) are perfect sound resonators. Not only do you hear the sound beautifully, you feel the healing vibrations and resonance through your body ! This was ancient Shock and Awe tech for the Masses !
I have a bucket list item. I don’t just want, but need to experience this song, in person at a hall or church on an organ. It’s a deeply visceral experience just with headphones. This song is alive like a beast of it own
Same, I have been looking around a lot if I can find an interstellar concert inside a church just to experience the resonance of all the instruments, specially the organ
Me too. I don't know if I'll ever actually get to, but it's one of the things I won't quite be complete if I pass without experiencing.
I have tickets for a Hans Zimmer show, I've been to 2, but never heard interstellar from a live orchestra yet. I spend both evenings bawling my eyes out regardless.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
I am learning this masterpiece in my little keyboard, I use headphones and it is a complete trance, I hope I can play this song on an organ in a church some day just for the experience.
This is a performance of tremendous beauty and sophistication.... It's genuinely incredible. If you ever read these comments, remember that this video/performance is a statement that all those long years of practice were worth it. Beauty like this doesn't come cheap. But it makes our world all the better. Thank you, and thank you to the production team, for taking my breath away.
Thanks sir. You comment makes me feel that my efforts are worth. Sooner or later.
I would pay an incredible amount of money to hear this live in a church
If I sat in that church, I would be weeping. Absolutely weeping my eyes out.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light. This is the most brilliant performance 🙏🏻
This may be the most beautiful rendition of this song I've heard yet
I can’t remember the last time I heard anything this beautiful I was overwhelmed by it and had a really good cry!

If I could give this a million likes, I would. Just beautiful!!
This interpretation deserves a lot more visualizations this is an absolute masterpiece! You are so talented!
I totally agree
It's no masterpiece as you put it, just a boring piece of shitty movie music yet again. Just more simple music for simple people with simple minds.

Ok, this one has the best sound and art direction.

This is the third time I've commented, but I just love this piece so much...every time I listen to it, it stirs up so much emotion in me. To me, this piece of art encapsulates the struggle and perseverance of humanity. The sheer will to not die... and the intelligence to do it.

I have watched this video over 50 times. She is amazing. This is the most beautiful and most complex version I have ever heard. Hans Zimmer would stand in awe.
This is the kind of performance that would even make Hans Zimmer cry from joy.
I am literally breathless. No words can really describe how magnificent your performance is.
Nos églises, nos orgues, nos monuments, nos anciens nous ont laissé un beau patrimoine, nous devons protéger ça. Une grande émotion en regardant cette vidéo ❤️.
Cathedrals, music and interstellar space, 3 of my favorite things together.
Interstellar always makes me cry. It swallows you up and takes you on a journey. feelings of hope, despair, nostalgia, strength and love.

This was honesty so emotional for me. I was listening to it while working and had to stop and lie back and just listen. One of the most beautiful things I have listened to in a long time. Thank you

Lisenting to this for the first time is like having a spiritual awakening. Its got to be one of the most beautiful renditions of this piece.
Image and spirit built with sound. The power and the trembling of space. Listening, you get the feeling of reaching the top of a mountain in a difficult approach. It is to forget about the world, it is to feel at ease ❤
That was beautiful, thank you. When Zimmer was asked to write this piece, the only info he got was that a father has lost his daughter. You can hear that grief...
Господи, какой же величественный инструмент... способен коснуться самых сокровенных глубин души, я представить не могу даже, эти ощущения, когда ты находишься там и чувствуешь вибрации музыки каждой клеточкой своего тела... Отличное исполнение!

Interesting how the church round stain glass is like the the ship Endurance and the organ pipes like the tesseract. Beautifully played!
Great interepretation. Interstellar's soundtrack shows how small and insignificant we are to universe. But, also how powerfull we become when needed. It gives me goosebumps.
This is by far the best version I've ever heard!!!
It's so cute and beautiful seeing her play with those shoes on aswell.
It’s hard not to love Hans Zimmer’s work, but this performance really takes it to a new level. Your passion for music and performance really comes out in this, and I hope that recording this was as enjoyable as getting to watch the result.
Beautiful. Powerful.
Боже, это магия!!!!
I don't think I've ever had such intense chills as I have listening to this
Organs are crazy. I love when they build a building around an instrument.
I am now listening to this when studying anxiously for a math test and my brain is fried and I almost want to give up. This music is like taking a sip of ice cold Coke on a hot summer day! Thank you for giving me the energy to keep going!
Amazingly beautiful.
Thank you!
The best movie soundtrack in the world played on the coolest instrument in the world. Love it
Every time I hear this music, it moves me to the point of shedding a tear.
Thank you for this cover of this masterpiece, you transcribed it in an incredible way.
Ms. Lin is as beautiful as the music she plays.

A particularly harmonious, organic, smoothly played, well rounded, peaceful, contemplative production of it. One can hardly do better in life than this.
I cannot count how many times I’ve listened this variation…. Extraordinary played, fantastic sound and unbelievable harmonic.
Great job Wanying Lin ! I’m impressed :)

Playing this song on an organ was an incredible experience, hearing this performance brings me back to that moment!
Interstellar’s music gets me emotional every time I listen to any of the tracks in the OST.
Man, I really loved watching the moving pieces within the organ as she played. That was so cool and really made me feel like I was there with the sound surrounding me, even if I’m actually just sitting here with headphones
It kind of reminded me of the ending to the movie actually…
what a beautiful gift from God
I’m a simple man, I see an Interstellar cover and I instantly hit like.
This is for me the most moving performance of this Zimmer composition. I also could not hold back my tears on hearing it. Somehow, its whole tonal essence has a direct access to my soul.
OMG - Beautiful music, beautiful girl, beautiful play, beautiful cinematography - this is good beyond good. This is just awesome! Thank you for sharing this.
For just a moment, I felt the mathematical precision of the brilliant design of that amazing organ; the dedication, skill and love pour through the fingers of Ms. Lin; the brilliant composition of emotion into sound; all resonating and amplified by the ancient Masonic mastery used to design that cathedral, condense into one single, perfect and infinitely unique expression of humanity that seemed to briefly lift me out of my mundane role as a person and allow me to perceive the miracle of my experience as a human.
Everyone chats about, but when the organ plays, everything is silenced.
Brazil love you song Wanying, your interpretation of the song always touches my heart.
This deserves more than hundred thousand likes and at least 10 million views.
Best version
Always nice to hear a new voicing for this piece. I particularly enjoyed the choice of the 16' reeds in the pedal. Also always impressive to see something like this played on a tracker - there's a great deal of physicality demanded of the organist.
Appreciation to Wanying and her camera team who showed the details of the instrument so well. Truly enjoyed this cover.
This organ version of this song is beautiful!!! Bravo!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
They used an organ in the OST :)
The original version was recorded at the “temple church” in London. Yes, that church. Templar’s built the church, but the organ is modern, built in the 1920s
