Don’t let actual knowledge overshadow the magic of the show. I’m retired law enforcement and still love all of the “cop” shows! I just refuse to dissect them while watching! Please continue to enjoy the premise behind them!

I have to actively fight the impulse to correct any historical mistakes made in films and shows. But if you don't do that, you ruin your viewing-experience a lot.
Just remember that these shows neither want to be 100% accurate nor do they ever claim to be. And also remember that all of the other shows and movies are full of errors aswell, you just don't notice them because they are out of your field of expertise.
