- Koh Samui Thailand - what a VIBE! We're checking out what to do, jumping on a scooter to find the best beaches, restaurants, overlap stones, viewpoints and a luxury resort at Amari Koh Samui, check it out here: geni.us/zhjK - ⬇ See below for Thailand recommendations⬇
Koh Samui is cooooool. Did we spend too much of our Thailand trip in cities and the rainforest? Were starting to question it after arriving in Koh Samui and finding some many awesome things to do, beaches to explore and coastal food options.
In this vlog we're showing Amari Koh Samui on Chaweng Beach, it's an ahhhhmazing luxury resort right on the beach front with two different swimming pools. Check it out here: www.amari.com/koh-samui
We're also scoping out the most well known site in Koh Samui, officially known as Wat Phra Yai, but more commonly recognised as the Big Buddha.
Bo Phut beach is one of the other well known beaches in Samui and really ticks the box of that classic Thailand beach for us, spenny to eat and drink in the restaurants as to be expected, but a bloody stunner to check out!
A stop at Fishermans village (not much happening there) and then on to the overlap stones and the drama surrounding that whole mess of a setup haha.
Regardless, an epic day fully embracing beach vibes and exploring like this is our fav way to scope out a new place - so we hope you enjoyed!

I am having a dreary, stressful day at work. Watching this vlog while having lunch has calmed me down. Thank you again for being my medicine!
Comment of the day, thanks for sharing so much positivity - hope its been all great days since!
Why is it so romantic to be in Koh Samui? It has a vibe to it.
There absolutely is! Amazing sunsets definitely help
I really enjoying watching your videos. I just came back from Chiangmai trip to California and thinking to retire in Pattaya by the end of this year. Thailand is a nice place to lay back and relax. Enjoy your time there and I always hit like button to support your channel. LOL. Good luck to both of you.
Thanks Lam, that means a lot! Hope you had an amazing trip
Hi guys, Wow! We have been, enjoyed the beaches and the wonderful food. So much attention to detail and a great customer experience. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us.
Sending you much Love and Affection from Richmond, Va. Harriet, Jim and Yuki 🙏❤🙏
You constantly impress us with how much you've both traveled! Hopefully sitting back and watching us and others doesn't make you too jealous these days!
Heading to koh Samui next week ( Chaweng )to start our 3 months of travel in South East Asia. Nice video guys. Subscribed.
Nice one! How did you like it? Damn your profile pic just made me thirsty for that Irish Champagne
Beautiful scenery. Beautiful stories. Beautiful couple.💖
Awww thank you ❤️
Oh, bucket list for sure!
Great video Gorgeous place you stayed in that so pretty 😍
Hope your Both doing well & Nalu too 😜 Have a Good weekend 🥰
Beautifully captured as always. We have fond memories of Koh Samui. Was there several years ago. Loved the cute airport and the chill out vibe of the island. Always look forward to your vlogs. Much love 💙
We agree! We should have planned for more beach time 😓
Great looking resort and beaches.
What a cool van places so beautiful.
love it team!
OH SNAP - the mans back on CZcams!!!
Yay! Is new Vlog day!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Near the Big Buddha there's a sunset restaurant run by a Swiss couple. We had a nice meal there! I was disappointed to see people not covering up at the buddha. We went at the end of the day and it was so quiet.
End of the day would be ideal, that heat radiating off the stairs was burning our feet!
Koh Samui is beautiful. Thank you guys!
Thank you too - we really appreciate your support over the years! We see you!
It's so weird to watch this as I was literally there last week! It was so hot but Bangkok was UNBEARABLE. We had to keep stopping to get inside for AC as it was like 40 degrees. Blimey
I hope you opted for the scooter on day two because Samui has so much more to offer. You just need to get out of Chaweng.
We did, thanks! Vid just went live
Yes we’ve also discovered we like the beach vibe areas compared to the city feels.
Wish we’d thought about it a bit earlier 😂😂 still, it’s been amazing!
I love relaxing but then I find I quickly get bored at resorts after a few days, whereas cities are never boring!
I went to that marine park too! haha
Hey 👋🏼
I was wondering which backpacks you use for all your Asia trips?
Also, nice Vlogs!!!
Thanks! Nothing special, I (Dane) have a bag from Douchebags aka DB these days, Stace’s one is from Lululemon
Hey Daneger and Stacey, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I loved your videos. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make highly engaging shorts for you?
Glad you enjoyed it! Editing vlogs is something we won't ever give up sorry, but thanks for the offer
Absolutely love following you guys on your adventures. Share your love of Bali and will be returning there in August, however Koh Samui is next on our list after that. Would you recommend Chaweng over Fisherman’s Village as a base?
Fisherman’s village is pretty isolated and distant from the busier areas - so Bo Phut beach is nice, (maybe quieter?) but you’re a long way from most things to see and do. We’d say Chaweng is better! It’s a great place to explore, you’ll love it 🥰
@@DanegerAndStacey thanks so much, appreciate your advice 🙂
Stayed near Fisherman's Village and wouldn't recommend it. The beach looked nice but we believe the sea was polluted with sewage so we didn't swim :(
Just got back from Koh Samui. Your resort looks really nice! I didn't enjoy it too much because we were kinda stuck at resorts, what with the high price of taxis and no public transport. I'm too scared to hire a scooter haha. We didn't see the centre of the island which looks beautiful. Found Fisherman's Village quite disappointing and although Crystal Bay was nice, two of the other beaches we stayed at were too polluted to swim at. After we left we realised we should have stayed at Chaweng instead.
Thanks for the tips - super helpful for other peeps to read about! Sounds like we made the right choice in terms of location then. Did you have a good time though?
@@DanegerAndStacey We did! Really liked the newly renovated Outrigger resort. We got sick though of course lol, not sure where from
What did you guys think of the water quality at Bo Phut beach? I've heard it's not great compared to Chaweng so i'm worried about staying there. The vibe of the town looks nicer though compared to Chaweng so i'm confused where to stay!
There’s another comment here by jj that said the water quality didn’t look great. But our thoughts from another reply: Fisherman’s village is pretty isolated and distant from the busier areas - so Bo Phut beach is nice, (maybe quieter?) but you’re a long way from most things to see and do. We’d say Chaweng is better! It’s a great place to explore, you’ll love it 🥰
Me and my girlfriend are going in 2 weeks. We are actually saying in the Amari, what did use think of the hotel? And was there much to do in koh samaui? We are going for 10 days
Amari is awesome! Great location, on the best beach, the food was yum, the staff were so friendly and the pools were great too
@@DanegerAndStacey can you recommend any must dos in Samuai?
Hi where would you recommend hiring a car from on Samui. Cheers
I don't see why not, the roads are all fairly decent (except for the overlap stones) - most people do a scooter but you could definitely do a car
go see muy thai.
We need to! 🥊
Includes paid promotion much?
There’s a disclaimer at the start 🤷🏼
