How did you moved around Phuket? Did you used Grab?
Hey! Yes, we used Grab the entire team.
You may opt Bolt in place of grab. Bolt is much cheaper.

I just love Phuket ❤❤❤❤❤, going back there for the umpteenth time in May. Karon is my favourite place, spending 2 weeks there, seeing my dentist, hanging out in the Sutin bar, spending days on the beach, and eating street food. 15 days in comfortable accommodation in the centre of Karon $440 AUD for 15 nights.
Wow 440 aud for 15 nights? I paid 900 aud for 4 nights in Paatong beach. What is the hotel called for that good price?
@demebox3607 Karon Cafe Inn you will find a few places like that in Karon, they are not resorts, the rooms are large, the beds are comfy they have all facilities and decent bathrooms, breakfast is extra I would guess they are 2,5 stars, which is okay by me as all I want is a decent location, clean room, and a good shower. I am travelling solo, so I have none else to please.

Thank you for sharing your trip. When you used grab, was it hard to request them in remote locations like big buddha and wat chalong or did they wait for you?
Hi Duke, we didn't have problem with Grab during the day. For what Chalong we did ask the cab to wait for us for return trip just because it was economical. People have also suggested Bolt so would suggest installing both apps.

We booked early morning tour with Simba Sea Trips. The tour included maya bay, phi phi islands and few more beaches.
Any travel agent, they are everywhere, it is a good tour.

Don't remember the exact amount. Maybe 10k. We did most purchases using credit card with no foreign transaction fees.

How would the weather be in mid march.. too hot and humid or still pleasant ?
The weather will be hot (in early 30's in Celcius) but it won't be unbearable. The water temperature will be really nice.

I went to Old Town recently. Stayed 3 nights.
Did you stay in old town area for 3 nights? How was it?
Yes we did. Stayed in The Midtown Hotel. Very central and great hotel including the price. We could walk everywhere. Loved the history, the people and the spicy food.
Hi are there any requirements to use the drone in phuket?
Not aware of any extra req. But you can't fly it on Phi Phi and Maya bay area for sure.
did you book phi phi tour before going there? or once you reach there? how did you travel internally? I am going for my honeymoon
Hi, we booked phi phi after reaching there, but we booked it online. You can do it before as well. We found a few tour options on TripAdvisor and booked an early morning one with Simba Sea Trips to avoid crowds. Internally,in Phuket, we used Grab taxi service.
Plenty if options, uour hotel will help you.

How are the veg options availability in phuket

We did not have any issues with language. Everyone understood english.
Same with food. My wife is vegetarian and we were able to find vegetarian options easily. Most thai places would have vegetarian curries or will allow customizations.
How did you get around the island?
We used Grab app but folks in comments have mentioned that Bolt is better.

Crest is not a cheap resort specially you want to have private pool during season it goes upto 60k for 2 night ...as phuket doesnot have many resort with private pool
Hi Shrikant, private sea facing pool is still relatively cheap compared to other travel destinations around the world.

Do the locals pronounce it as Fuket with an F sound? I thought it was pronounced with a P? But you would know as I haven’t been there yet? Also I thought it was pee pee not fi fi for phi phi island
The sound is not exactly P or F, now that we think about it. Its closer to en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E0%A4%AB

4 days in Phuket is nowhere near enough time 10 days is the minimum you should spend there.
