Lichking literally ragequits after his weapon getting stolen

Yeah and he also uses hacks to make himself immune to damage.
He never plays cards during that phase

Welll since he doesn’t play cards when you steal his weapon. You can just play mechathun in all class. Easy win

Shiftingerino Shaderino Immune refers to damage. Mechacthun flat out destroys the hero. Worth a try.

I did something similar yesterday, only I first stole his spell with mana bind, then broke his armor with plate breaker for an easy win.

@@lm-st7uo It's based on what class you're playing. In most cases, a murloc aggro deck will do the trick, but for a more streamlined deck, i'll need to know which class you're fighting him as.

Finished the run yesterday and I am so happy and proud
He is still immune because the lich`s hero power make him immune, not frostmourne. And you can replicate the glitch with maruzond, the priest class and he will change hero power to remorseless winter after you defeat his trapped souls but with maruzond

I do this with the new Priest legendary that replays your opponents last turn. Not as effective but still works.

What about that card that switches the top card of each players deck? Couldnt that take frostmourne? Anyone try that?

Playing frostmorn is scripted. Even if you discard his hand or smth else
@@LadislausKallig but weasel tunneler and doomsayer and treachery still works and block him
@@michelelanni7745 This is because Frostmourne is placed on top of his deck before his draw at the start of the turn. Doomsayer + Weasel Tunneler triggers at the start of the turn before the draw, thus shuffling Frostmourne, whereas a Battlecry played on your turn wouldn't work since he doesn't have Frostmourne yet.

please do more videos of the lich king, I'm currently struggling with beating him, especially with paladin. I've managed to win with hunter, mage, druid, and priest so far.
You could also run platebreaker and kill him with 1 damage after stealing his spell and destroying his armor on turn 5
Try this again with the 4/3 that makes you invincible during your turn
Next step - figure out how to make the lich king lose his immunity. Also for the swapping hero power ideas - If I remember correctly it seems that cards that swap hero powers don't work on bosses
Someone posed the idea of Mechathun.
You only could kill him with "destroy your opponent" like in dk paladin card or mechaCthun.
Gift him an Executus using treachery?

If you ignite to delay fatigue, and grizzled wizard to steal invincibility once the fatigue would insta kill, I think that would work.
What if you use Grizzled Wizard to change hero powers after killing the spirits and building a board?
Would he stop being immune permanently?
You could try to change hero powers before clearing his board with the card that exchange them for a turn
You may as well have mechathun to finish him off at the end.
Use the minion that gives you immune during your turn and reach the turn limit to see what happens
That's pretty cool(literally). The other day, I used Copycat to do the same.
I know this video was made 1 year ago and nobody will read this comment, but there is a cooler version of this now. You can copy frostmourne with keymaster alabaster, and this way you also get the trapped souls, immune effect, and the hero power. I beat the Litch King with this way btw.
If you change his portrait from Lich King to, for example, Ragnaros with Majordomo, does he keep his immune status? Is it even possible to change it?
Btw its a lot easier if you just play murozond, also since its priest you dont get any effects like 1 hp

Try stealing his hero power after his stage 2 with grizzled wizard and swapping it with shadow form or something
I don't think Grizzled Wizard works on bosses, but I could be wrong
Even if it did, his hero power in the second stage doesn’t actually do anything. He’s immune because the game says he’s immune. The only way to beat him after stealing his weapon is to use Mecha’thun or the Paladin death knight.
Here are list of “fun” budget current meta to beat lich king that I use(I join the game in boom days project)
(Put plate breaker in to every deck except Druid)
Mage-Kabal lackey + balance minion
Priest- Galakrond
Warloc-Galakrond
Druid- jade idol
Rogue-pogo + Galakrond
Shaman- underbelly angler
Warrior-Galakrond
I still couldn’t beat LK with hunter and paladin if anyone has a good deck please let me know : )
Murolc paladin and also murloc hunter, just put any murlock u can and bless rng thats how i did it
Shirvallah + Plate breaker and shrink ray and a lot of heals.
Shirvallah is good because he steals your minions and with her deck you don't have too minions to give to him

What if you use Toggwagle to steal his whole deck(somehow(idk how)? Will he still play Frostmourne if he hasn`t it in his deck?
Defeated him with 7 classes (can do all classes) like this. After you get his sword. Destroy his board and get mechathun since he wont play a single card
I struggle with mage and hunnter with this method if yku have any tips or decks would be gr8 :)
Try using a 'destroy your hero' thing, like Mecha'thun
Also the Lich King is invulnerable because of his hero power wich is that he his immune as long as he has a trapped soul on his board

Wow they really thought of everything to prevent an easy win
I did this playing Copycat and when playing the weapon it triggers the summoning of the souls and switches your hero power to the immune. If either players board was cleared then both weapons were destroyed and both hero powers changed.

I got to the max rounds doing that and he doesn’t play cards but minions will attack if you summon some for him
what happened you use mecha'thun in your deck in immune part of the boss fight ?
Assuming that your hand, deck, and battlefield are empty, it will kill him
Im not sure, but in phase with frostmourne, isnt he immune, because of heropower?
I cant kill him as hunt and pala. I tried agro decks but its wasting of time. Any idea, tips anything.

You can get frostmourne and the hero power if you play good ol' murozond
Well... If you copy Arthas' 2° Hero Power with sideshow spellcaster (Grand Tournament card that copies your opponent's H.Power)
Then you change Hero Powers with the little Gnome Wizzard (i forgotted the card name)... And like... after that, completing a mission that changes your Hero power (Maybe Druid one ?) with Arthas' original one maybe cause you to become pemanently immune and him not ?
try plate breaker it might advance the fight to the second time frostmourne comes out

weird that they tie the 2nd hero power to the weapon destruction but not the invincibility to the weapon
What if you swap hero power before the frostmourne end turn?
Ideas:
-Steal Patchwerk's weapon.
-Steal Emperor Thaurissan's hero power.
-Steal and replace some of the boss hero powers to completely break the encounter. (Naxx, Blackrock Mountain just completeley breaks lmao)
If I remember right, you can`t affect hero powers in the adventures, atleast you couldn`t block it with Mindbreaker
What happens if you give him shadow form ?
It is possible to destroy the lich king with the four horsemen of uther of the ebon blade

The problem is the hero power. You should play the card that swaps hero powers for a turn and make his power change with Finley.
Guys, in new Scholomance Academy add-on was added new legendary that copying enemys next drawn card. How about to try to steal Frostmourne with it?

I did this with kobold stickyfingers and the lich king had perm immune
Well to be fair, his power says "you are immune if you control a trapped spirit" so, its not based on his weapon. I dont know what to say after they died.
Maybe this could be because the trigger check if the spirit dies is encoded in the weapon and the initial trigger to turn the lich king immune to? So when he plays the froustmorn he gets immune and this immunity will wear off only when the last spirit is removed, but since you stealed his weapon the order should be:
Lich king plays froustmorn - trigger immunity and summon the spirits - you steal the weapon, so now since you control the weapon but didn't played it you don't trigger the immunity and the lich king don't own the weapon anymore so fuck the spirits, maybe the weapon in the reallity is coded like a battlecry?
could you still win with something like Mechathun ?
You could swap and change his hero power. Then he wouldn't be invincible.
