Definitely doing this for side entry to kitchen, really don't want to use peel and sticks tiles. Thanks for sharing.

Would this hold up in a full bathroom with a tub/shower?

Will the tape leave a residue or damage the floors underneath? We want to put this over hardwood floors that don't match the wood vinyl flooring in the neighboring room, but we're worried it might damage the floors when we have to remove it at the end of our lease. Thoughts?

@JennerPorter I can't say for sure since we haven't removed it yet. The tape says "removable" and I'm 99% certain that when in used conjunction with a hair dryer (to loosen the adhesive) it will come right up. You could always test the tape in a hidden corner before doing a larger installation...

@@pawsitivecultrit was called a "vinyl floor mat" or a "vinyl rug" - the exact one I used was incredibly affordable but hasn't been available on Amazon for months (sooo frustrating because it's one of my favorite finds ever!) There is a competitor (Carolina Creekhouse) on Amazon but they are much more expensive.

Is there a link to the floor mat anywhere?

Unfortunately, the specific mat I used has all but disappeared from the Internet (I've searched everywhere). The only similar replacements I can find are Floorflats by Carolina Creekhouse - although they are considerably more expensive than the one I bought from Amazon last year.
