How long did it take you to draw that leopard? You spend a lot of time to put all that detail into each part. I like how you are very observant to details. I'm also greatful how you explained how you work with solvent techniques. I'm going to try that. I did the mistake of coloring all my layers and applying the solvent at the last part and it turned out bad. There is a trick to layering for sure. Got to get the colors right. 😉

I am a total beginner and spent a lot of money on buying the 120 set of Faber Castell Polychromos and I allmost regret it because I am trying to draw a lion now but really struggle with the mane. I watched your videos on how to draw fur and I am going to follow your advice and feel positive that I am going to succeed.

Amazing drawings! Been watching some of your videos and i could not stop looking at your "special" grip on the pencils. I find it fascinating that you can even draw like that! Doesn't that put a lot of strain on your fingers?
I suppose it can cause some strain on my hand, but the positives outweigh any long term discomfort. It gives me more control over the pencil, I am better able to do many techniques because I can easily get more pressure. Holding it the way most other people do, I feel like I have very little firm grip. I remember learning to write in kindergarten and the teachers trying to force me to hold the pencil between my index and middle finger, it made it harder, so I started doing it on my ring finger and continued to do it despite the teachers always telling me I was doing it wrong. Eventually they gave up. 😆

Question! What paper would you recommend using, and how do you go about lighter/ white hairs? For example in the horses eye, there’s white eyelashes, how do you go about doing those?

Please, what paper would be the best for drawing landscapes, with dry medium ( Faber Castell graphite pencils and Polychromos ? Also, does anybody know what paper is used on the Leopard on the begining of this video? Thanks in advance
I would recommend using a medium or smooth paper type for landscapes, such as arches hot pressed waterclor paper or strathmore 300 seriese bristol vellum.

Under drawing… what medium are you using please?
I only use 100% colored pencils for my drawings, no other medium.
I always get lost in patterns.
When you say people to flip your drawing just flip your drawing and not just the footage of yourself drawing! It's not going to be any good if someone is playing by that advise.
It doesn't give it the right dimension how to do it. :O I always think that that advise is a bit hard and unnecessary. During the painting or drawing session it's OK to check your painting to see, if it looks strange but don't never draw with your painting being upwards. It doesn't teach you anything but to copy something that you can flip around. It just shows you if some proportions are wrong and that's OK.
