    Hello from France. Thank you for your great video. I have a 2019 model, and I'm delighted with this great car. I made a trip Nice / Rennes "1350km" in one go without problem, yes a lot of refills, but 15min no more so great, and this summer I plan to go to Norway with it.

      Hello! That is awesome to hear. It sounds like an awesome trip. 15 minutes was about average for us as well. Really no need to spend more time at the charger. Enjoy your car, and your trip to Norway. That sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks for watching.

      @@TechMotoring Could you show the bluelink one day, because here alas in Europe we don't have it. Thank you.

      I have been thinking about putting together a video for Bluelink. Honestly, it's not all that good. The app is not capable of very much, and it is expensive every month for all three packages that you can buy. $30 a month for all three. I only have the basic package just so I can start and stop charging.

    That's strange, my Ioniq from 2018 Aug do have led headlights, only the big lights is halogens. But I don't care, I rarely drive it at midnight and so.
    I recently bought this beautiful car at 17 march, so I did some research and the battery from Hyundai are great!
    I have 1,5 years factory warranty, but you can buy 2 years extra for a reasonably low price.
    In totally 3,5 years factory warranty, but maximum 120k miles= 200k km.
    And I tint the back windows the darkest privacy foil.
    Did I mention that I really love this car?

    • @TechMotoring
      @TechMotoring  Před 2 lety

      Hyundai did a great job on the batteries for these cars. That's for sure. I also tinted the windows with ceramic tint to minimize heat from the sun. And yes, lol. Most of us would agree that we love our Ioniqs.

      Yes I did saw it, that you also tinted your back windows, lol. I removed that " thing" sorry for my English.... So I can use the heights and nobody van see in the car.

    25% to 75% exactly 1 hour on my 240V (2017 IONIQ) 80% to 100% 1 hour.

    • @TechMotoring
      @TechMotoring  Před 2 lety

      Not sure how that's possible. That would be charging 50% of the battery in 1 hour. Which would be a speed of 14kW per hour. The car is only rated to accept 7kW with the onboard AC charger. A 28kWh battery at 7kW would be four hours not including charging losses and it slowing down towards the top. So this car would charge 0-100% in about 4.5 hours, give or take a little.

    Hi, I am planning to buy 2017 ionic, which has 170,000km but I am planning to buy with extended warranty which covers battery and other components. Can you please provide some feedback is it okay to purchase this vehicle? Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you

    • @TechMotoring
      @TechMotoring  Před 6 měsíci

      I can't say for sure whether or not you should buy the vehicle, but I can say that I loved owning it. I have done plenty of videos on it. Even road tripping it long distances. I do think it is a great idea to buy the extended warranty just in case anything breaks. The battery should not be much of a concern though. I hope this helps and best of luck.

      @TechMotoring Just found out that 2017 ionic i was planning to buy has an accidental history with $20,000 claim amount. According to the seller, there was no damage to the battery or critical components, and he is also providing a 4-year warranty for battery, drive train, and other electrical components. Do you think it is worth it to buy ? Thank you

    • @TechMotoring
      @TechMotoring  Před 6 měsíci

      I'm my opinion. I would not purchase the vehicle, but you should determine what is best for you. I would be concerned about ever reselling the vehicle again with that history on it.

    In the later models, I think because of you mentioned about it. I do have cold seats, 120 HP and 295 nm, led headlights.

    Hello. I am planning to buy an ionic 2017 premium package 88kw and 120hp. The odometer is 68000miles and the price is about 15000$. Do you recommend me to get this in 2023 knowing that the car is 2017?
    Is it worth it ?

    • @TechMotoring
      @TechMotoring  Před rokem

      That's really your choice. The price is not bad considering the current market. Keep in mind that there will be no more warranty, so you may want to think about that in your decision. Either way, I wish you the best of luck. Make sure you report back if you do decide to buy it, and let us know how you like it. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      @@TechMotoring Thank you for replying. I really appreciate your efforts. What are the things that I have to check before buying like battery degradation and what more?
      The tires are so small, what arr your thoughts on these while driving?

    • @TechMotoring
      @TechMotoring  Před rokem +1

      Battery degradation is important, though that can sometimes be hard to determine accurately. Also check the 12v battery. I have a whole video about mine going bad and what I went through to get one. They also can be costly. I never had an issue with the tires. It's by no means a sports car, so best not to drive it like one. Since the car has that many miles, the tires have been changed at one point. If they did not put EV specific tires on it, that may hurt the range of the car a little. Definitely take a look at my Ioniq videos. They may help with a lot of questions.
