Alleyway Brush Pen Urban Sketch With No Perspective and No Pencil Drawing To Guide Me

- Sketching with a pencil underdrawing can actually hinder your progress as an artist. In today's video, I demo an urban drawing-type sketch for you with only a Zebra flexible tip brush pen and no light pencil sketch as a guide. Then I finish up with some Tombow dual-tip grayscale markers to add a bit of depth. Learn how to make these kinds of drawings without measuring or anxiety.

Thanks for the video. Loved the sketch. Jumping right in with ink is definitely intimidating but would be a great exercise. I would imagine in the long run it will help improve my drawing. I am quite a tight sketcher and a neat freak. Lol.
Hi Karen. Everything we do, all of our experiences, all of our successes and failures, and especially our experimenting make us better in the long run. I really do try to embrace it all. It's not always easy, or comfortable, but I love how it makes me feel at the end of the day when I'm in bed and looking back on it. Happy Art!!!
