Very very nice job. all lawnmowers with a cab will look awkward, so don't listen to anyone. As weird as they may look to some people, I really don't care because I am not getting snow in my face anymore, I don't have to bundle up, and I'm not getting wind burn and frost bite.

Awesomeness , totally love it great job all around, gotta fix all them air leaks tho. So ya don't freeze your bippy off , it looks so good buddy , ya need to start sellen plans , or kits, & even go to the John deer co. And offer them to help sell your product, wonderful workmenship, what a work of art , I'd learn to build for all riders

Very well done. I built a similar one for a Troybilt tractor. Mine has glass door knobs and a windshield wiper.

Keeps the snow off ya that’s all that’ matters. I have a 445 with a blower and no cab and in the wind it can suck.

You might want to think about making your chute turn by using a couple of 12 volt power window motors from a junk yard. I have it on mine an it works really well. Your cab is really nice . I had to make my front window swing open because my 140 has the gas tank under the hood.

Nice job! You seem to be very particular and neat judging by the way you work. I really like the heater. Wouldn't mind buying a tractor to specifically plow/blow snow with and build a nice cab. If you fell the need put in a switch panel to operate maybe a dome light, some flood lights on the top, and some more 4 way flashers. I have a gusher with a 25 horse Briggs out in the barn that I kinda wanna do this to. And again, great job!

Your cab is super but I think your blower adjustment creation is Excellent. I have a John Deere F935 and a 400 and that is the one thing that frustrates. Neither can be adjusted in the cab. If you dont mind Im going to copy that EXACTLY. Thanks so much for the post.

Cabs on small tractors always look weird.
But that's ok, you'll look weird while out of the snow and wind. 💪👍

great job man!! that looks better than the one i saw for sale for $550! i've got a 285 also and couldn't figure out why it had no power for the last year and a half since i bought it, finally it died and i started digging into it, here its been running on one cylinder since the day i bought it! should have plenty of power after i get the other new coil tomorrow. think i'm gonna keep it now so i'm looking at ideas for a cab and you did a great job. hope you don't care if i copy some of your ideas
