      Not so much when I drive in the city but on the other hand when climbing on the highway or it lacked a lot of power to reach 90 km/ h
      Now that I replaced the part everything is ok

    I get the P2562 code
    Change the turbo charger and the solenoid sensor it was fine for 2 months then back on again. Any suggestions?
    I believe it’s caused by DPF blockage. What do you think??

    Thank you for this nice video. Have same p1497 and p2562 codes now on my 308 1.6 hdi 92 ps. Are any adjustments needed after changing the actuator set or shall just erase the codes?

      Hello I have the same sporadic errors P1497, P2562 in the diagnostic only sometimes, no warning lights on the dashboard.
      Having the same 1.6 hdi 92 ps ... only in Peugeot Partner 2013.
      How did you solve it?
      And what is weird the author of the video has it described as it is a turbo with *variable geometry* .... which my is not, and I think nor yours...
      P1497 *variable resistance turbocharger*, position incorrect relative to requirement, not enough turbo (APV)
      P2562 *variable resistance turbocharger*, position incorrect in relation to the reference value, no enough turbo charging

      Yeap. I changed the actuator set (the first part of the video) and the error didn't reappear for the moment. The old actuator had quite a bunch of rust on its rod and wasn't going smoothly.
      I don't think that the author means variable geometry. This is just a generic description of the error. And those engines have a so-called Westgate which regulates the amount of exhaust gases going to the turbine. And the actuator is responsible for opening/closing it. In essence those two errors mean that there is a too big discrepancy between what the ECU wants and what the actuator does in reality. The valve , that he changes in the second part, controls the actuator.

      ​@@EB-hl9hq, I have only changed the Westgate actuator and it all works just fine. One year and around 16000 km, no errors yet.

    PLEASE, WHO HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH A 1.4 EHDI ENGINE WITH INTERCOOLER YEAR 2014. IT HAD DPF BLOCKED AND WE HAVE CLEANED THE DPF. THE CAR IS SEMI-AUTOMATIC NOW. IT DOESN'T CHANGE THE POSITION WITHOUT COOLING OR IF IT STARTS WITH GAS, IT STARTS ACCELERATING NO LIGHTS. THE PROBLEM WITH THE STARTER MANIFOLD IS OFTEN DOUBLE IN FIRST GEAR THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING

    Hello, moi aussi 208 1.4 de 2013, défaut 2564, 2562, 1497. Position trop éloigné de la valeur de référence PAS ASSEZ de turbocompression..
    Si j'ai bien compris il faut :
    changer la soupape actuateur de turbo (wastegate/actionneur de turbo) ou le turbo complet.
    Et aussi l'électrovanne de turbo.
    J'ai bon?!
    J'ai entendu dire qu'il faut faire les 2 en MM temps et puis reprogrammé le calculateur ??
    Est-ce vrai?!

      oui les deux parties, aucun programme n'était nécessaire, il suffit d'effacer les codes d'erreur

      @@moh.2531 actuateur de turbo changer, acheter en casse auto attention la tige doit etre mise exactement dans la même position que l'origine, quelques jours après j'ai aussi changé l'électrovanne à gauche, effacement des codes et jusqu'à présent tout va bien..

    Hi, I got the same problem on exactly same car. The error would come up once in a while (every 200-300km especially when taking highway), it would go away by itself after few hours. The car is driving ok (with and without the error). Have changed turbo acuator, electric valve and EGR, do I need to calibrate the turbo after the change?
    Is there something else to replace?

      @@karpetcabinI’m in Denmark, work costed me around 290GBP. I’d expect it to cost less in Uk.
      Official Peugeot service have good prices on diagnostics in Denmark (50GBP) I’d suggest having the car checked by them first, as it may save some money. In my case the garage staff that I went to (not official Peugeot service) would be guessing where the issue is coming from, so I ended up buying & replacing more spare parts then I actually needed. At official service they are usually good at identifying the exact spare part that is faulty.

    After scanning the ecu with the fault being listed as Turbocharger.
    The engine works fine and the fault was not always visible on the dash, and when visible it was gone after some time.
    What do you think the problem is please. TIA

    I have a Citroen C4/B7 which gives me P1497 & P2562 Turbo Charger Position Incorrect relative to the requirement, not enough turbo. At engine idle speed I get Turbo Position reference 99% and Turbo Position Repeat 84%. When accelerating the Turbo Position Reference Value bearly drops to 95%. I cannot move the actuator at all with the engine on and if I pull off the vacuum line from the actuator the actuator returns to 0. Just wanted to check another opinion but I think I might have to change the actuator.

      ​@@shane555yes, I took it to a backstreet garage in Newcastle that specialises in french cars and he cleaned something up and charged me £60. It's been fine ever since.

      aucun réglage n'est nécessaire sur ce turbocompresseur si vous l'achetez neuf ou reconditionné, il est calibré et son actionneur de turbo wastegate à commande électronique.

      P1496 Turbocharger Position incorrect relative to settings - Too much Turbo ( after sales)
      Basically when I go over 50 mph I get the engine light and service light on, the cars looses power and then all of a sudden the power is back.
