- L.C., the Harley Davidson Panhead is finally ready to go home. Now, we're getting attached. Sending out a special thanks to all the people that helped make this happen for someone they all love. We're listing off most of the things we repaired or replaced. Then we'll take her out for a quick ride around the neighborhood.
I love you Mike. Going through a rough time and you're such a relaxing, informative and knowledgeable person to listen to
I hope things get better for you soon. This is a very strange time.
Love it. That's what bikes were like back in the '70s. Really nice to see an old chug like that still stateside.
Couldn't agree more!
Great job Mike. And you CM Mike. I am sure DTS Mike will be thrilled. Cheers to Froggy and the rest of the folks that helped out. If you think DTS would like it, I have the tool kit Froggy carried on Mr. Machine. I can ship it to ya if you think He would like it. Its a leathe bag with good old Scooter Tramp tools and parts one might need riding an old scooter.
You know I'd love it.
I ran across part of his old "registration Tube" the other day.
👍🙂🤩
Oh joy in the sunshine! Made me smile on a day where we have ice and snow, and nobody riding two wheels.
I wish you a warm sunny day soon.
I am so damned impressed! You are the man! I just wish I was close enough to learn from you in person. Your presentations are awesome... Smooth, concise and without the usual BS.
Thank You. We try. We're having a good time. The Internet sort of gets us together.
That first ride when you get a bike finally put all together is exhilarating to say the least , always is for me anyway , really enjoyed watching you bring her back to life thank You !
You and me both! Thank You.
Mike, are you sure you're not Merlin in some past life? Love your work and above all, your knowledge.
Wow. Dunno if I could live up to that. But Thank You.
She's a sweet scoot got alot of character gonna miss seeing you work on her!!!
Oh, I'm sure we've got something fun to do. Thanx.
Yay! So happy you can keep the old iron running.
Yes! Thank you!
You guys did great on the recovery of this old pan . I loved this project ,can’t wait for the next …Thanks for the education….
Glad you enjoyed it
👍🙂
Makes me miss my '49 Pan from the late '70s watching this repair series so much!! Thanx Mike
Glad you enjoyed it
@@pacificmike9501 YES I DID MIKE!!!!
Considering what she looked like when you started, she a beaut. Nice job Mike.
Thank You. The idea was to get her on the road and leave the real changes to the owner and his taste and choices.
I may never own a pan head, but I’m grateful for all the knowledge you have shared with us. It gives me such an appreciation for these machines and the people that keep them running.
You could do it. Stranger things have been known to happen.
Just a great great video. You and your friends took that bike from the brink. Well, maybe not. But it needed a lot of work. And now it’s going to be reliable. And fun. Good job !
Thank You. She was pretty bad off. Now, she's ready to rock and roll again. Yes, it does feel good. DTS Mike is gonna love her.
I've absolutely loved watching the videos on how this curmudgeonly historic panhead was given a facelift and brought back to life. I know the panhead took all Mike’s time but I’m now absolutely desperate to see some forward movement on the flathead project, no pressure, but over to you Mike 😂
Thank You. We'll get there soon, but, the rest of the girls need their attention too.
👍🙂
Mike, thanks for sharing your years of experience to perform a true labor of love!
You are such a weath of information and knowledge. Wishing you the best!
Wow, thank you!
I loved watching LC coming back to life Mike. Shes a beauty. Maybe some flathead build videos soon? ✌️ 🇨🇦
Thank You. We'll get there.
👍🙂
That bike is absolutely gorgeous! Your friend will be over the top happy. Well done.
That's the plan! Thank You.
LC is sounding pretty darn good! I love seeing a neglected old bike get some love and put back on the road. Hope your friend gets lots of enjoyment out of her! Keep up the great videos 👍
Thank You. I love the picture for your web channel. Looks like Ed took care of her for you.
This was an informative series, I really enjoyed it. DTS Mike is a lucky man to have friends like you and Camera Man Mike! You guys are my favorite channel on CZcams.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank You.
👍🙂
Great job for a good cause. That's what it's all about. Thank you from the Ye Old Triumph spanners from CT for sharing it all. RMM
Thank You. And thanks for coming along with us.
The biker brotherhood lives on. It's an awesome thing to have generous and knowledgeable friends. I hope DTS Mike enjoys her as much as I have enjoyed watching the series. Mike and Mike...you guys rock.
Thank You. DTS is quite a brother. He gonna love it!
👍🙂
You've got the knowledge, the tools, the time and the patience to do everything right. Thanks for sharing. Love pans!
Thanks for watching!
Really puts the meaning in Old guys Rule!
Lots of respect hopefully someday I could fill your shoes…
Shouldn't be too hard, but I've got big feet. Thank You.
Awesome build as well as an awesome bike . 🏍 impressed
Thank You.
True old school style and class! And the Pan is righteous, too!
From southern California- Ride forever!
Thank You. And, you too. We'll have another look at my Pan in the next day or two.
Good evening Mike . How are you ? Thank you for this video.
Good evening. All's well. Wishing you the same. Thank You.
@@pacificmike9501 All good here, thank you .
Cool.
Love it Mike. Love to see the old school knowledge transform a bike that doesn't run into a nice ride. Great job.
Glad you enjoyed it
Damn sir, what an incredibly nice job you and camera man Mike have done. You are truly a good soul and the world needs more like you. Sooo enjoy your channel.
👍😊
Wow. Thank You.
Top job Mike& crew have really enjoyed/learnt a lot watching LC become all she can be cheers tim from downunder
Thank You.
👍🙂
Watched the whole 21 L. C. episodes in one go. Love the deeply relaxing attitude of Mike. Learned a lot. Great job guys!
Glad you enjoyed it!
That was very cool. You have inspired me to dive into getting my shovel back on the road. With your help, and one other CZcamsr, I have my bike stripped to the frame, and the trans completely torn down. Waiting for a couple parts and a thorough clean up of the case and lid, then the trans reassembly begins.
Cool.
Timeless style, what a smooth panhead! Thanks Mike and friends for an incredible series!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank You.
What can I say Mike you guys are the best! Beautiful bike! Kenny
Thank You.
(HAT-TIP to ya) Guys. . .Truly another AWESOME video!! So informative!! Yall remind me of a neighbor I had once for a short period of time: His name was Bill. He was a cool biker dude, rode some old Harley's and had 2 pit bulls that were some really awesome dogs!! Anyway...I was 12, had an old CB350 that wouldn't run and was pissed that I couldn't fix it. Bill ended up fixing that bike and I was able to ride that bike again!!! He taught me alot about people: Never judge a book by its cover. They may be rough on the outside but when you get to know them, they are some really cool people. . . IN SHORT - - - I simply say THANK YOU for sharing your knowledge with all of us!
Thank You. And, I appreciate your story. Good stuff.
The sound of that Pan put a smile on my face!
Cool. Thank You.
Always love stopping by the garage, mission accomplished, have a blessed week my friends.
Thanks, you too!
Just discovered you today. Awesome work.
Not only are you kind hearted and knowledgeable beyond my memory but you're very polite.
I've never seen someone actually go through and make sure to respond to every commenter.
Very righteous.
Thanks and welcome
👍🙂
I love the panhead! Oldschool choppers are the best!
Thank You.
Nice job Mike!! And others. You guys have made this old pan into a reliable strong rider! You’ll have to get onto that old flathead, maybe?
Soon. Gotta take care of daily rider.
Always great to see a finish line. We'll miss Elsie. Great series, great finished product. Congrats
Thank you very much!
It’s great that another classic is back on the road again, the old panhead engine singing its own tune (cue the Willie Nelson song)…
Like, "The Roar of Dirty Thunder?"
You are awesome Mike. Dts is lucky to have you as well as cameraman Mike as friends.
Thank You. Ain't luck. He's a genuine great guy.
👍🙂
Wonderful job you ( and others contributed) to do something for a friend.......turned out really nice..Elsie should give Mike a good ride for a while....and I thoroughly enjoyed being along for the process
Thank you very much!
👍🙂
Nice job on LC Mike, I totally love how you and camera man mike (and friend’s) donated your time and effort’s to help a (friend) fellow biker. I’m very happy that you’re feeling well. As always we love your video’s and look forward to to the next one! Watch out for those who don’t watch out for you! Keep your knees in the breeze! 😎
👍😊
Much appreciated!
Mike awesome job! You are my favourite CZcams Channel! Greetings from Poland. Marcin
Awesome, thank you!
Great series. You make it all look effortless. Thanks
Thank You. It is fun.
You are the man Mike.
Thank You.
thank you for the final look! brother i'd be proud to roll that down any street.
Yah, she's a good ol' girl.
Really enjoyed this series...Thanks for sharing this refurbish ... Took me back quite a few decades as it's very similar to a '48 - 61 CI pan that a buddy had put together during later '70's... + a few others.
Yes, they were all over the place where I grew up. It affected my development.
@@pacificmike9501 & pans were a lot less $ back then...Your vids working on them has given me the panhead "bug"...Like to find a close to OEM '65 ... Your yellow knuckle also reminds me of a similar motorcycle from way back...same color & almost same configuration....I recall being an observer when the owner was tinkering with the clutch....Even back then didn't see THAT many knuckleheads(the motorcycle type...LOL!) out on the road in this area... > ALMOST warm enough in my area to work on machinery (unheated & very crowded small garage...have to "measure for tolerances" before moving anything around...LOL!) Enjoy the comment section & looking forward to see what you're up to next...
Thank You. Glad you're enjoying it.
Old Elsie looks awesome thanks for the update …. She sounds cherry
Thank You.
Can't wait til i get my 49 tuned up and firing off on the first kick. Great work!
Just takes a little practice in tuning and a little practice in "technique."
Good to see LC up and running, great job guys!
Yes! Thank you!

Cable was hanging up. Just going through a little "debugging.' But, Thank You.
D.T.S. Mike is a lucky man to have such great friends like you and all on the list who helped getting LC running again. I get the feeling you would be there for any biker in need of help. You are a good man Pacific Mike.
D.T.S. is always there for all of us. Thank You.
Ya'll put a lot of work on that bike even though she fought back every once and a while , but came out great 👍. Two friends like you and camera man Mike are priceless!!! ✌
Thank You.
👍🙂
Parts that sit for many years & wear their dust with pride, just waiting,
chosen for their worth, they slumber on, a known steadiness for promises anew.
Forged & fettled years apart, yet bedfellows by stable, they adopt the family gait with ease.
This orchestra of instruments, assembled by skilled hands to conduct their own symphonic New World progress.
(Nice riding skills too; with a new foot clutch & an idle circuit on too much coffee? - a tricky combo, smoothly done Sir : )
Thank You. I have "priors."
Ah, ye olde -#'Flywheel, - through the tulips'#- eh? Been there . . .
You know, there is a bar down the street, with this big "planter" in the middle of their parking lot. I mean, you almost can't see it in the dark and well.. you get it.
No registration, no helmet, and in California to boot!. Mike, you are my kind of biker. Fight the power.
Oh, and beautiful job on bringing a sweet pan back up to spec, well played!
Ojai Tristan
Thank You.
Thank you for sharing. Fantastic built.👍👀
Glad you enjoyed it
Great job, Mike! Shaking your hand across the ocean 🙂
Thank You. That's a great stretch!
👍🙂
Sounds great Mike! Can't wait to get out on my bike!
Thank You. Have fun.
Thanks Mike, for putting out quality video. And valuable.
Glad you enjoyed it!
👍🙂
Good job. Bike is good looking.
Thank You. We were trying to show what you can do without a pile of money. I wouldn't be afraid to ride her anywhere.
Such a cool and fun project to watch. Thanks for the vids, and I want to say I love that you would help a friend out like that. I wish there were more ppl like you in the world.
Thank You. The guy that this Pan is for, has been there for so many people, he's amazing.
Mike, I just rewatched this whole series, and I really liked this one. LC is such a nice-looking machine. I really love the bars. Wish I could find a similar set for my project. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you so much for taking the time to do these.
Look up Flanders no. 1. You'll have to install the internal controls though. Try V-Twin for all of that.
@@pacificmike9501 Thanks a lot, Mike. How is the 80-inch Flathead coming along?
Sit tight. We'll get there.
L.C. isn't the prettiest bike in town but what she lacks in beauty she makes up double in character ! and i'm sure when DTS Mike gets her back he'll want to make her pretty real soon too !
great series , thanks for sharing
You got it. I didn't want to make changes. Not my place.
Congratulations to all the Mike's, L C is looking good and sounding better. Thanks for takeing us on the journey of LCs rejuvenation; really enjoyed it and learned a bunch. Take it easy boys. Thanks Sincerely

Junk cable hanging up. Just bugs. Now great idle doing the "potato."
Mike, that Panhead looks awesome. Great exhaust work-love the way it's done. Don't see to many of these nowadays.

Hello. Thank You.
Great job guys! Always feels good to help others. So good to see so many come together to make it happen. Great video. Now more EVOs pleez!!!
I don't ride an Evo. The Evos I've done since retiring have been fulfilling promises to friends. Go to our CZcams Homepage and click on "videos." We've done a lot of Evo work and it's all there.
👍🙂
Gorgeous simply gorgeous. Beautiful machine..
We didn't build her, just "revived" her.
Nicely done.
Thank You.
Awesome!!! Pacific Mike is a living David Mann painting.
Okay, so now I'm blushing.
