Philippines has a lot of stock r35s tho, I rarely see a Modified GTR here like 3 out of 10 gtrs I saw here are only modified, 1 of them is modified LB v1 body kit with armytrix exhaust and another 1 is Pandem/rocket bunny

I test drove the 2017 model a few months. It's a white knuckle ride for sure. You get to your destination fast because everyone moves out of its way. I honestly believe for a very short while I was probably the fastest car in the UK on the motorway. I hit *** Mph in a blink if an eye. For the price it cannot be beaten.
With the Gtr it becomes an addiction, I've seen some Gtr's with over 1500 hp and thats just ridiculous..
In the US they are hitting 2500hp now

turshin new world record gtr did 255 in half mile and has 3,000 hp
turshin 1000bhp was just becoming normal when the veyron come out now theres ugr gallardos and ams gtr's with almost 3 times that 😂
Knight Racer didn't have the best reputation a few years ago when I owned my GTR. Mine had a stage 2 tune from Litchfield and that had 620bhp without all the silly blow off valves and it still had cats so would pass the MOT, this one won't.
I hardly ever ran it in full blow 620bhp mode though, far too much for the crappy roads in the UK.

In the matter of months the stock orange gtr will get modded as well. Stock GT-R is rarer than limited edition Ferrari
The wise ones will leave it stock looking and go get it tuned at Cobb. Leave everything stock, maybe an exhaust and brake pads. It's a fine line, personally I like the sleeper/stock look with some timeless tastefully done but reliable and functional modifications.

This is very interesting to show in my recommendation. I have a GTR that is modified, but selling and getting a stock one. Because it failed emission test due to its tune ECU. I dont have the stock intake system anymore. So even if I reflash the ECU to stock, it will throw codes such as “too lean” due to air fuel mixture. I love modified cars but with the government trying to restrict us. Modified car is just not an option for me anymore. I’m happy to enjoy a stock sports car that I can use to drive from point A to B. I’ll leave the crazy builds to the professional and youtube influencer. 🤙🏼 love this topic 👏🏻

What the M2017 needs is a better chassie for track purposes. Part from that, not so much mods required. Even the stock exhaust is actually very nice

Cool part on owning an GTR, beeing an car addict, is you're always facing the fact that quadrizillions of $$$ get burned if your tuning goes wrong. That helps keeping that modbug itch under control😂👌🏽

HOLY FUCK those turbo noises are bliss!! I would definitely have the Knight Racer GT-R! Its got so much character and its loud and it shoots flames. Thats exactly what I love in a GT-R.

Man if i have a Nissan GT-R i would Modified and even Customize it into JDM but either way, and i just love how Nissan GT-R is they are my dream car.
if this had a manual it would be fast enough. The involvement and satisfaction from rowing you own gears change the sensation of speed to be more noticeable. The computer controlled dct cars need so much horsepower for the same sensation since its more taking you for the ride as oppose to your driving it

So, I own a 900hp gtr (MY2015, fully built) It runs 60-130mph in 5 sec on 93 octane. BUT, it has lag. Lots of it till 4,000rpms. I honestly think that MY2017 Nismo GTR with larger factory turbos is the only factory GTR I wouldn't mess with. I mean other than a mid pipe, ECU Tune and Ceramic Brakes (carbon ceramic brakes aren't available in the US as a factory option).
Got a 16, I'm scared to go past fbo just bc reliability
id consider one if they made a manual gear box, I will probably find a nice r33 for that reason.
GT-R? Modify. 100%. Not doing so is an automotive sin as it's SUCH an AMAZING platform.

by the smoke that the tuned gtr makes looks like way to much fuel is used, you could get 650 with stock engine including injectors, just with fmic and exhaust and remap.

as with other cars, if you don't plan on having it for more than a couple years, leave it stock, or near stock. you don't get mod money back on resale. if you're gonna keep it a long time, mod it.

You really need to upgrade the exhaust if you buy a GT-R
The new GTR models are bulky and heavy I like the models in the 2015 range those were the best.
2009 GT-R was 480HP stock
The theoretical horsepower limit on a GT-R is 1773936128461394173419351634134 BHP. But the practical value is a little above that.
In my gtr i chiptuned it and it ads 20hp and 120 nm thats a little weird but damn you get pushed in your seat

Does anybody else ever notice how a lot of (not all) the tuned cars always stay somewhere with the hood up because of a failed part? From my experience they’re just never finished.

I can't afford a GT-R so I say "No, I wouldn't mod it! What if something goes wrong? You know how much it would cost to fix it??!!"....but if I could afford it, I probably wouldn't stop until it made 3 million horsepower lol
Why wouldn’t anyone not want to modify it? Modifications are part of the GTR’s identity. Anyone owning a skyline back then modified the crap out of it.

There was a time, when GTRs were giant slayers, and now they are just giants, where with less hp it was faster around tracks than more powerful supercars like a 458, or a Porsche turbo S, and could also beat them at the drag strip with that AWD traction. Today a 488 or turbo S, will demolish any stock GTR, Nismo or not, and will destroy it around any track in the world.
Body kit name?
If you don't care about the resale value of the car or the warranties of the car, then modify the car all you want. If you do care about all of that, then I suggest avoid any mods.
They’re definitely underestimating it with 650hp... there’s definitely way more with that setup.
