In this tutorial we're going to create this sweet spiral galaxy in After Effects. This tutorial doesn't use third-party plugins. Download the Project File: curiousrefuge.com/blog/galaxy
After scrubbing over the video and before going to watch this tutorial, I would like to say, THANK YOU ❤ . Now I'm going to watch this video. This is all what I needed.
I really like how you show the keys you press. That is actually my biggest complaint about video copilot. Sometimes he changes stuff without saying in his tutorials and nobody knows what he did. This is very noticeable in his shock wave tutorial. Again GREAT JOB!!! You just got a new sub.
SOMEONE PLEASE tell me why this doesnt have a million views or half that? Video Co Pilot Reincarnated. Since he fell off the map. This guy stops were all bored to death. What an excellent tutorial.
you should take notes from this guy. much easier to follow instructions. i've had to pause your galaxy 3d tutorial and rewind multiple times at x0.75 playback speed
Setting the blend mode for the galaxy with the stars background to screen and then going to 3D mode isn't working for me - the black background remains. Any advice on how to correct?
You're the first person that I know no uses plugins. It's amazing!

Thank you sir , you teach me how to make galaxy and nebula .
Want to render a sequence with such a thing rotating. How should I do this?
THis guy has to be related to Andrew Kramer. He works just like him. I Had a blast.
First time trying After effects. Challenge accepted ♥
Good luck! It’s an incredibly fun program.
I will try to make a solar nebula with that.. Just don't know how to make a circular cloud.. .like disk shape

I don't see where I can check out to buy the full version online?
How could I loop something like this??
Can you make a whirlpool effect? In other words have it progressively sink the closer it gets to the center.
Yeah I think you could probably keyframe a scale and twirl to create that effect.
Thanks!
nicely done, especially since no plugins were used... but the particles in the foreground are ruining the scene for me.. it's unrealistic
Thanks for the feedback! Have a good one.
The project file is not free anymore :(
the stars in the background aren't stars, they are other galaxies.
Duh! Albeit, he's trying to school the uninformed.
hey you should start your videos with final result, it is abit pointless to watch half of hour for unknown projection.
We appreciate the feedback!
Why do you say "free project file" when you charge $10 for it on your website... False advertising right there!
The project file is no longer free, that's an outdated info! :)
You have to sign up to download.
Awesome! But could we use the nebula from this video czcams.com/video/RPGLcx6Fy_0/video.html to do this effect?
it's not "free" ....
yeah kinda pissed me off
